One thing that's been always broken - singles down the line

Been playing since the PS2 days.
One thing they never fix is hits down the line. Majority of times even with fast players they are singles when in reality they should be doubles or have a good chance of being a double.
I guess they will never fix this.
I know a few years ago they sort of tried to remedy it by having the OF throw inaccurately to 2nd so to give you a chance. but that's like putting a band aid on the gaping wound.
