Honestly its questionable doing it even once.
The only thing of value is a 1/5 chance at getting a player worth 10KThe vouchers aren't enough exp to really be worth it.
-
I'm definitely not doing it.
That 90 at the end isn't worth it in the least
-
Nope. Mini seasons. The missions for packs are repeatable, vouchers every 5 wins, tons of TA progress, more vouchers at the end. It’s the way to go.

Until they nerf it.

@x814xmafia I'm surprised they didn't nerf it (again) when ta2 came out.

Sometimes I don’t have time for a 60 minute ranked game & just feel like playing a chill quick game or two so I hop on conquest. I enjoy it personally…..Now as to racing through the new map over & over - no. I’ll play through it this weekend but then on future plays it’ll be a much more slow & casual pace.
-
An advantage of grinding Conquest, vs Mini-Seasons, is that you can use the same Pitcher(s) every game. It is a good way to acquire the necessary xp for the program, especially for the specific Pitchers of whatever division you are working on.
After doing the exchanges and the Extreme Moment, I finished the AL East playing this Conquest map with three Strongholds left....and I did not have to use any vouchers. I just loaded my team with AL East cards (including Ch 1 AL East bosses) and went at it.
I just finished the Extreme Showdown, so that, along with any vouchers I collect, should make the other divisions progress faster... Especially the ones that have Pitcher bosses.
-
I will admit doing it more then once is kind of silly but the fact there is no XP even for the last one ( Special Pack ) goal is silly and not going to hammer them too hard but not helping the narrative that they listen to the players.
- As I said in another post giving them a little more time even though I do want to rant but I feel like I prolly went off too hard and too fast so another few weeks then will revisit the issues with SDS. I really hope they listen to the players cause as much as some think I get off on ripping SDS this is not the case. I would love to come to the forums and say this is the best game they have ever done but truth is most only come here to complain or to defend SDS. If the game was great we would be playing the BEEP out of it not taking endless time complaining out it-- FACTS .
-
I completed it. I should’ve kept better track of what the hidden packs were, and where they were located, but it’s definitely more than just common packs. There’s couple random headliner packs, too. Nothing super special, but I always think all conquest are worth doing once.
But yeah… TA mini seasons are the way to go from here on out (or cheesing CPU games; I got 25 RBIs and 40 TB with my AL east squad in one game earlier doing that).

I already decided i wasnt doing it a second time after the Reds took over the entire left side of the map. For some reason, AI seems extra aggressive this year.

Yeah, for the first time ever, the CPU tried to take one of my strongholds! I had to play a Hall of Fame game to defend it!

Strangely, when I played the US map not a single CPU team took over another stronghold. First time that has ever happened.
But to the topic at hand I might do it once but I am with the others that I might be able to accumulate TA XP quicker just playing a vs CPU game at Costco.
I may take a shot at mini seasons. I have not done it yet and was setting up a roster for it. Does anyone know why SDS seems to allow every card series except Spring Breakout? I'd like to use my Tink Hence card.

And how much did it cost you in stubs to do the Exchanges?

Once again SDS destroyed a system that was fine, for offline dd players conquest is one thing we get and to take two of them away and make it repeatable for three vouchers is a joke, honestly last year's game was way better as far as packs rewards programs and such, this year the gameplay is better, the market is pretty much locked you can't sell the elite equipment or cards so you have to put real money into it to buy backs unless you want to spend all your time on the market. I'm not a stock broker and don't wanna spend the little time I have flipping I work for a living and have very little time to play as it is.
-
Im doing it for the sweet 9 show packs and 250 stubs. Thats a sweet 3k stubs in the bank. 50 more conquest and I can afford a decent player. SDS is so good. Also buzzword power creep for the win.

Yeah i flew through the US map. This TA one though is crazy. The Reds legit took over the entire left side of the map. They had tiles with 18-26 reinforcements and id have to reinforce multiple times to take like 4 tiles lol. Mini seasons is the way to go. At least you get rewards along the way that are repeatable, not just the vouchers. Not sure why they dont along Spring Breakouts. I dont think they allow Seoul either.

Just won the Championship.
I played and won 25 total games
49 Show Packs
10 Ballin
A bunch of TA unlockables and choice packs
15 vouchers.It’s worth it.

Spring breakout,Seoul, hyper(except the preorder pack ones),or season awards.
the other series cause those were rewards in ta.

I had a question - in TA, don't we get 3 maps usually in conquest? TA WEST , TA CENTRAL, TA EAST.
I see we got only one map for TA season 2 last Friday. Will 2 more be coming out in the next few weeks or is that it?

This is the best way to grind TA. I did all the exchanges, showdown, moments. Then seasawed Verlander with Abel while setting my lineup mainly with yankees and al east and Eddie mathews. I'm practically done AL Centrak, NL East, and almost done AL East. Haven't even finished the new conquest. Once I do, I'll go play mini seasons once and everything will be completed.
