Play 162
-
I play every inning of every game in my 162 game season. It takes me a good 4 months to play a season. I do play some RTTS along the way to just break it up. I would say I play Franchise 80% or the time RTTS the other 20%.

I used to play every 6th game. But last couple years I have managed to play full 162's. It's tough but rewarding.
-
I play every game, every pitch, all that! I just wish that ratings and face updates happen even after you start your franchise.
-
I play most of the games starting with the 2nd season. It takes me about a month to finish a season. Ihave a lot of time on my hands since I'm retired.
-
I play every game start to finish with the Giants and the A's. I keep my roster up to date by turning injuries off and sending injured players to dbl A and optioned players to triple A. If I don't have a player in the game I simply steal a nobody free agent and create the player. I control any transactions so when an injured player runs out of options I allow him to be waived and go to free agency where I'll pick him back up when he comes off the IR. This all takes a lot of time and effort but being retired, I'm able to get it done. This method gives me the most realistic results when the other teams simulate against each other but even though I've adjusted sliders to help the CPU , I still beat the hell out of the CPU with the Giants and A's. I play with hall of fame Hitting and Legend pitching. At the all star break I'm hitting .308 with the Giants and .299 with the A's. Both teams are in first place by 10 games or more. I'm thinking it's probably time to go to legend hitting.
-
That's my normal way to play -- a full 162 game schedule plus post season, without simulation. I also use the lock player option and so my Franchise is played out more like RTTS with the overall control of the setup that Franchise provides.

I play every game of my 162 season.

I’m 70 years old. I play franchise on legend difficulty. I played 162 games and went 119-43 with the San Francisco Giants In 2025. I lead the league in hitting and several other offensive and pitching categories. I played on line for several years and held my own. I stopped playing online a few years back. I became frustrated with all the disparaging texts and habitual rage quitting. Ive been playing since 2014. Being retired, I play pretty much everyday and spend a lot of time in practice mode. I’ve learned the only way I can excel hitting is to be very patient and wait for a good pitch to hit. This means taking a number of pitcher’s strikes and occasionally being called out on strikes because I struggle to react to pitches on the edges of the plate. After the game I check the location of my hit’s and inevitably they are around the middle portion of the plate. I pitch on pure analog and have figured out the CPU’s Tendencies and weaknesses so I consistently lead the league In ERA, strikeouts, and least amount of walks. As a hitter, my weakness is I lead the league in strike outs and hitting into double plays. With that, I still lead the league in runs scored and total bases. I have researched several realistic sliders to help the computer to be more competitive but it doesn’t seem to change the results. I have never claimed to be great at this game but I have improved a great deal over the years. I’m a former college football coach who coached as an offensive coordinator at several major universities across the country but have always been a huge baseball fan. This game helps satisfy my baseball fix. -
@SuntLacrimae50_PSN How do you just sim pitching? just skip ahead when it asks if you want in when pitching comes up?
-
I play DD too much but I would like to play a full franchise if I have time, though it would probably be on an older game like 19 or 20.
-
I sim spring training and play every game until or unless I get eliminated. I'm now in May of 2027 in my MLBTS 25 franchise and I have only simmed 1 game.
-
I play all 162 and most of spring training. I will quick manage rarely if the game is well out of reach starting in 6th inning. My dream job is being a GM of a baseball team so this is how I do that
it does suck how little they focus on Franchise. Lots of details they leave out. Trades are so unrealistic and also budgets as well. I play with Rays and make my own rules and regulations to make it realistic for my team at least. I won’t buy any new model games until Rays new stadium comes UNLESS they bring back year to year saves.. sucks putting a ton of time into a franchise and only being 2.5 or 3 years into it and the new game is coming out and you have to start over
