i linked my account to fix my team and followed the directions per SNS instructions.
When it came time to select the account, i clicked the one with my level and stubs.
A prompt came up that said CLICKING THIS WILL RESET YOUR ACCOUNT so I chose the other one.
NOW BOTH ARE GONE AND I AM LEFT WITH NOTHING. SNS I WANT MY STUFF BACK.
HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN IT IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE?

Well, it has now been 12 hours since my account was completely wiped out not only for 2024 but for all versions going back to 2021. This includes all the pre-order and deluxe edition bonuses for each of those games. And what have I heard from SDS? Nada. I am also losing one of the very small windows for playing the game because I have no desire to start playing from ground zero. I realize that they are probably swamped, but man an update of some sort would be nice.

@Sngambit- agree I try to restart my password just to restart my password and all I get is everything’s wrong so I can’t even go in and try to re-link everything like everyone saying some prayers and hope.

@joshuadelawrence woke up and it was all gone. I have every perk 249 unlocked for my RTTS mode which is all I play. Had diamond equipment on players from head to toe and about 125k Stubbs it’s all gone.

Still nothing about it huh? So we all followed the direction of sds and still nothing. Welp this definitely puts the nail in the coffin. Been a loyal fan since the show 15 but this is the end. The past 3 years been brutal for the brand and after this I don’t think the title will recover. Of course people will play because it’s the only baseball game playable out there. Just sucks it had to go out like this

my acounts gone now even though i didnt touch my account on the show web site its gone to 0 also .... the show 23 0 ... what happened why dont sony have a back up for us ?????????????????????????

So I relinked account late last night and even though I can get it to show my correct stubs and some players online, in the game it’s all still zeroed out. It’s like the console is still linked to the “new” account it must have created when I booted the game last night (showed a new terms and conditions to sign and must have made the zeroed account causing issues). Super frustrating hearing this worked for many others and yet mine is still broken. Put a ticket in at like 5-6am but I wouldn’t expect to hear anything that way for WEEKS. How is SDS so silent about this!!?? It’s plain immoral and it’s for a reason like always (to limit damage in the public eye and try to save face and all they’re doing is losing it so rapidly..). People not on the forum must be completely lost..

@GuyIncognito55 I don’t know why they expect people to choose the “correct” option when it says in big bold letters “If you choose this option your account will reset”. For them to make it that easy to accidentally delete your entire account because of poor wording is an embarrassment.

I made sure my data was synced to the cloud and deleted game to reinstall to see if that fixes it for people in my boat. Will update soon. People will (or should) lose their [censored] jobs for this ridiculousness. Not for what happened, for how they handle it! (Or don’t). The lack of communication to customers is plain irresponsible (and probably greed motivated). They are very slow to ever make a tweet when there’s issues because they want to keep it hush as if it didn’t happen smh.
