Account Reset? 4/4/24

So I relinked account late last night and even though I can get it to show my correct stubs and some players online, in the game it’s all still zeroed out. It’s like the console is still linked to the “new” account it must have created when I booted the game last night (showed a new terms and conditions to sign and must have made the zeroed account causing issues). Super frustrating hearing this worked for many others and yet mine is still broken. Put a ticket in at like 5-6am but I wouldn’t expect to hear anything that way for WEEKS. How is SDS so silent about this!!?? It’s plain immoral and it’s for a reason like always (to limit damage in the public eye and try to save face and all they’re doing is losing it so rapidly..). People not on the forum must be completely lost..

@GuyIncognito55 I don’t know why they expect people to choose the “correct” option when it says in big bold letters “If you choose this option your account will reset”. For them to make it that easy to accidentally delete your entire account because of poor wording is an embarrassment.

I made sure my data was synced to the cloud and deleted game to reinstall to see if that fixes it for people in my boat. Will update soon. People will (or should) lose their [censored] jobs for this ridiculousness. Not for what happened, for how they handle it! (Or don’t). The lack of communication to customers is plain irresponsible (and probably greed motivated). They are very slow to ever make a tweet when there’s issues because they want to keep it hush as if it didn’t happen smh.

@dpsheridan17 especially when, for me at least, the correct account was the one that said it would be reset if I selected it and the "new" ps account that was at 0 had no message. Like, obviously I wasn't gonna pick the one that said it was reset my account if I did, so I just didn't pick either of them but didn't stop them from both going to 0 by the time I woke up this morning...

@xxfrystealerxx there’s no way they don’t have a backup for something like this. Even if someone’s account gets “reset”. I’m optimistic that the accounts will go back to normal, but I’m not optimistic that it will be quick or without hassle.

@GuyIncognito55 nah I don't think you did anything tbh so don't beat yourself up over it. Like I said I didn't choose either of them, I just closed the page and went to bed but this morning they were still both at 0...

I almost took a screenshot too thinking I might need it, but it was almost 1am and I just didn't actually do it. Joke's on me I guess

same here shut it down now it at 0 my show 23 at 0 lol i had every card and millions of stubs everything is at 0 ... maybe i am wondering why dont psn save the data ..?? is it because we all have these apps and the show accounts that screwed us over ?

Both my MLBTS and Xbox accounts say Level 1 - 0 Stubs so I guess I'm extra bricked

I haven’t read all the comments on here but when I go on the companion app, it shows everything is under my profile name, vc, playing cards, dynasty squad, equipment program progression so they going to have a hard time not fixing this or reimbursing us, I rather them fixing it as the time and effort building our team is more important to me

I tried reinstalling game but still won’t link my actual account that shows online with my console smh. I guess people like me will just wait days or weeks with no clue when SDS will fix it, if they’ll fix it for everyone or have to go one by one, or if I need to try to fix it myself since I get zero customer support from them.

I thought maybe I need to link it through my console but when I started to do that using the code it gives you, it showed 2 accounts and both were zeroed. So I backed outta there quickly. Still can see my stuff online but no clue how to fix it since what’s worked for many does not work for mine.

The account dashboard shows me as correctly linked but on the console all of my stubs, cards, logos, uniforms, etc are gone. Weirdly, the companion app on iOS shows everything correctly.

It’s crapped that this happened last night and happened to so many players that this should their top priority, but they seemed to be more worried about fixing a pitcher knuckleball in the game then fixing possibly millions of people game profiles smh
