Getting Madden and 2k vibes

I know it's going to come across as whinning. However, they always claim play your way. However, we have things like xp caps and then any form of getting xp getting shut down this weekend like in mini seasons.
The refusal to make any of the packs available any other way this year. You need to spend stubs, even more stubs than last year to buy these packs.
Again the xp cap, did I mention that, this is ridiculous.
Having the jelly beans which brings back the bobbleheads from 18 the show vibes.
All of this makes me want to play the game less, because I feel we are heading to the direction of those games(madden and 2k). I know we still have the best card mode in any game. But I see cracks of greed coming through.
With the xp cap and now the cap on the mini season xp as well. All it does is make me want to stop playing and play something else as soon as I hit my xp cap. Which this could've been me spending money or playing this game more.
Now instead I'm going to take a break to go play ff7 rebirth for the first time since this game came our. I will be back to get my xp tomorrow but then I guess I might as well take a break again.

2k getting rid of the AH made them terrible beyond anything.
Madden came in with late floor on cards which crushed flipping.
But yea this game has moved closer to those than they are what they used to be. Wait until they find a way to cap flipping cards then you will see them get lit up here. It’s coming but nobody will notice until it’s too late. This years game is a boring grind geared to push you towards spending money and quite frankly is not worth playing.

@GoTitans3 yea I agree, im playing ff7 right now fighting a boss instead of playing their game. Just coming to the forums hoping to see people blasting them for their greedy behavior.

Just noticed this change and man, what a joke....I get having a cap (but 15k a day is absurd, should be 40k) but this is getting silly at this point. Play the game your way my [censored]!!!!! More like play the game our way and you'll like take it....oh by the way, don't forget to buy stubs.
Sds are seriously trolling us that this point.

Gatekeeping content with a really low xp cap is BS. Kind of makes me think content will be more scarce this year.
The Madden/2K vibe is strong with the number of otherwise unearnable (and expensive) packs hitting the shop every other day.

SDS really messed up this year, a power creep is a good thing, but this is just making people play on the devs schedule and not making it fun. You have to play longer for less rewards. No longer can you grind how you want.
It's harder to earn stubs and packs, yet they keep putting out 40k packs in the store on a very tight schedule, while actual content is lacking. -
The cap sounds low until you realize how nerfed xp is compared to previous games. You have to play a good amount to even sniff 15K xp where in past years you could get there in a couple hours. Ultimately I feel like this year is one giant overreaction/correction for last year while pumping out more premium packs and slowing progression to the point people bust out the wallets and buy stubs to speed things up. The game is still fun but the change is undeniable.

XP is going slow for me i dunno what im doing wrong. I just hit the first Captain pack in reward path. Things I've done so far the starter program, spring program, 3 eggs from Easter program, did 35 wins on 1st Event, im currently 4 of 6 TAs done, two ta conquest maps done, one ta showdown done and i just started to do the Ranked program. That's going off the top of my head. So all that im sitting at around 160k and im feeling like ill never see the end of the reward path and i was hoping to get to the Billy Williams card
