I don't mind the way robbing homers plays out for the most part, as that's a lot of luck. I just get annoyed when it's a ball hit that's going to be just over the wall and your player has time to get to the wall and wait for it come down. Then you hit jump and and he just kind of jumps like a moron with no semblance of actually trying to make a play on the ball.
I did a jump with Gallo where he laid flat. But I robbed the HR over the wall in Center

It’s happening more frequently this year than ever. And certainly not impossible as I’ve already robbed 3 since the game came out.

CPU has robbed me a lot, more so last year, but a few times this year.
I haven't come close. -
I was a hr robbing machine with gwynn in center last year moved him to right same outcome cant rob a hr for the life of me this year

It’s tough irl, and it’s tough in the game.
Just because you have Mantle, doesn’t mean you can rob a homerun. If you suck you still suck lmao. (Not saying you suck in particular, just as a general rule)

turn off one button dive/jump

I robbed a few in 18, including a couple of stunners with Griffey's one foot wall climb animation.
Haven't gotten one since though. :sadface:

Yet to rob one this year, but CPU has robbed me at least 5 times in moments/showdown.

You have to jump earlier than you'd think because you have to give your outfielder time to take that step or two up the wall. Most people jump too late because they think it's just a matter of jumping up and grabbing it; they don't give themselves time to climb the wall

It’s definitely harder this year but doable. Now making a regular diving play in the outfield? Impossible except for the cpu

Only 1 robbed home run so far this season.

He never robbed it. It hit off his wrist and stayed in play. Then I go to rob it and it is a crappy animation

Yep, I think i have robbed about 15-20 this year. It’s definitely a numbers game where the failure outweighs the success by a large margin

Trout has been a god for me this year i have robbed a few homers in RS play - took screenshots and all - you just have to time it right
