Xbox Series S does not have the new hair physic movement on all players that has long hair or dreads. For instance Guerrero Jr on blue jays, Fernando Tatis. And it’s supposed to be supportive on all next Gen consoles as it said on the trailer. Not understanding what’s the issue on that. But you see players hair move on the PS5 and Xbox series x. Series S has a lot of games next Gen that has hair physic movement Nba 2k, UFC, FIFA games wrestling WWE. Why not MLB Show 24. Please can we get some type of patch done with this feature situation solved soon on the Xbox series S. On hair physic movement. Or have fixed in some type of server. I’m sure the team at San Diego studio can solve the issue right away or soon. It’s pretty disappointing and I’m a big fan of the show since 2007 from PS2. Other than this problem I have and dislike and want it solved soon. Thanks for the hard work you guys do every year on creating a great baseball game.

I've been trying to get an answer for this. I think it is a game engine problem. Plenty of games on the Series S are much more demanding graphically. Whatever game engine this game is built on must be very limiting on what they can do or something that SDS can't even get hair physics working on the Series S. Why would they not prioritize working with a newer game engine to upgrade the game graphically and get better performance?

While the S is current gen (there is no next gen right now), its graphic abilities and memory usage are less powerful than the X and PS5. This is probably why the new hair physics can’t be seen on this console. The game version for the X and S are identical. What is different is the consoles capabilities to use the software.

This is unfortunate. When I set out to add the XBox to my household I passed on the Series S although I already had the PS5 because of what @Blind_Bleeder and @Tylerslikewhoa_XBL pointed out.
