AAA Call-Ups

I noticed that I have Votto in my AAA but haven't found a way to bring him up. Is it because I set my player development and scouting on auto? Am I missing a menu option to bring a player up from my system (one of my choosing)?
I'm almost finished with my regular season and I'd like to have him in my clubhouse.

It’s… sort of random, you don’t get to pick and sometimes your best player never gets the opportunity to get called up. That’s been a part of the mode since ‘20 if not earlier (can’t check now that the servers are gone). The best you can hope for is if the opportunity arises, send down one of your top players and there’s a decent chance the game will offer to get them called up with a chance to boost. That works even for players who manifestly don’t need boosts like, say, Mike Trout, who always will get called back up immediately and doesn’t take much to get him boosted to max and end up hitting 56 home runs without you controlling him much.

@Blind_Bleeder You’ll have to change to manual or it’ll keep sending him back into AAA. Go into your mode-specific options and set roster moves to manual. You can set whatever else you want while you’re in there to auto or manual.
