Catchers don't show the signs anymore!
-
@FTR-fr0z3n Yeah..it's annoying. The way the catcher moves like he's hitting that pitch cast thing or whatever it's called messes with my timing. Not every catcher does that for one....
-
@Blind_Bleeder I can't find it. The catcher showing his fingers. Do you have you setting to show it? It just adds a lot to the realism of the game.

CPU Pitch Suggestion
-
I am on 2023 and turned that feature off and the catcher still gives the figures. 1 for fast ball and stuff like that.
-
Not why 2023 has that and 2024 doesn't.
-
DOH! I know why! Pitchers don't give signs anymore. They use comms... LOL Had me wondering for a bit. The CPU will suggest, but it's not in the catcher's animation anymore because of comms. If you watch the catcher, he hides his right hand with his glove when the CPU suggests the pitch.

That's just Terrible. It's like a basic aspect of. Baseball. Why would the remove that? I guess I'm sticking with 2023.

It's all because of the Astros

Oh well. Thank God I have game pass

Beginning this season, catchers won't be the only ones able to call pitches using PitchCom technology, which was introduced across the Major Leagues in 2022. MLB informed clubs on Friday that pitchers will be able to call their own pitches using a PitchCom device after successful experimentation during Spring Training. It's a new rule.
