Too many foul balls by the CPU
-
Played about 24 games and the computer hits way to many foul balls and sometimes it results in a home run or and extra base hit tried everything to fool the computer but nothing seems to work mlb the show 24 needs to do something about this

-
Hmmmm Sliders?
-
It sucks real bad when the first batter has an 8 or 9 pitch out in a CQ or MS game.
-
Yeah I was just thinking about this. Playing both franchise and diamond dynasty the CPU is way too good at getting into long at-bats and way too often.
-
That’s baseball
-
not every other at-bat being 10-11 pitches long.
-
I’ve thrown an on purpose ball and that’ll work sometimes. I’m considering letting the pitch clock expire when it happens this year to see what happens. All of this assumes I can afford a single ball.
-
The sheer quantity of foul balls is staggering. Through CPU vs CPU simulations, I've observed numerous instances where pitchers are pulled from the game in the 4th or 5th innings despite not allowing any runs and only permitting 2 to 4 baserunners. Remarkably, the pitch count often reaches the 40s and 50s after just two innings. This phenomenon stems from batters consistently fouling off 7, 8, or even 9 pitches per at-bat.

I turned down the slider, I still get a 8 or 9 pitch battle about once a game. Your never going to get a foul ball free game.
