As a disclaimer...I like the game and am probably going to play it a lot, at least in the short term.
UI & Photosensitivity
Lots of people have already brought this up, and it's true. I'll just emphasize a few things:-

The twitchy, jumpy, sizzle-reel menu presentation is a huge downgrade. It reminds me of Madden/EA.

There is a very real issue in Conquest with bright flashes after simming a tile. I'm a bit shocked this made it out of testing -- it's clearly a photosensitivity issue at worst, and at best will cause unnecessary eye strain.
CPU Pitchers Throwing Too Many Balls
This has been brought up too, and it's a big problem. Simply a terrible design decision. Single player DD grinders (in general) want strikes thrown at a much higher rate so we can mash and move on. A side issue with this is that it also affects moments. How terribly stupid to have a moment in which a 75-power hitter needs a HR but the pitcher is programmed to walk you...- I actually took several screenshots of the stat screen that shows the first 3 pitches being nowhere near the zone and then two strikes on the black -- or a ball for a walk. I stopped taking the screenshots because this happens probably 3/4 of the time (or more). What's the use of the first-pitch perk if non of them are ever strikes, lol???
That's all. The game is good, despite the neglect of franchise mode AGAIN, but these design decisions are terrible and should be fixed.
After all, what do we early-access people pay for if not to test the game for SDS? We have paid for the privilege to tell them what they need to fix...sigh...

Point taken, though.
They're the two that might steer me away from the game and have me requesting a refund from Sony if SDS doesn't address them. If they do, I'll enjoy the heck out of it, despite franchise getting the shaft AGAIN.

Yes, I actually wont buy it if the UI white screens stay the way they are. I play in a darker rooms and suffer from headaches. I just don't get it why there is no dark UI option.

I played a CPU game on rookie to try and finish the shortstop on base challenges and couldn't get a hit. In the 9 inning game vs the horrid Royals, I lost 2-0 on rookie. LOL I have been playing conquest games on all-star and winning 3 inning games 5/6-0/1. All-star is the new rookie

CPU pitchers throwing balls is a BUG and not a design issue
CPU always throws with a very late release. There is extremely little chance this is intended -
