Switch Crashes

Third year Switch player! Having an issue day 1 for 24.
Twice now in the middle of a game, the game has crashed totally and goes back to the dashboard closing the game entirely. I can't recall even one instance of this type of crash...it isn't a disconnect, it's a game crash.
Is there a better forum for this?

Additionally others are reporting problems on Switch on Reddit

Try not being able to get on the app since the game dropped, claim that the servers are back up but still can’t get onto my app

That's the error I get, game crash.
I completed a Conquest game this morning (3/16), and it went 5 innings. Maybe I got lucky.

Conquest (2 different) or vs cpu (3 different) time have had same software close because of error on Switch. Extremely frustrating!

Just happened to me again this time play vs cpu at Coors. Is this happening to others just at MLB stadiums not classic ones.

@MrMet hell...I hope they fix this problem from 2023....if you try and customize teams on franchise mode the game crashes...it worked fine in 2022...I was hoping they fix it for 2024 ...is this whats happening to you?...

similar issue crashed 5 times during conquest games. super frustrating havent been able to play and make any team affinity progress. Done every single troubleshoot and nothing works. Hopefully they get this fixed now

Happening to me as well. Hopefully they can patch the issue.

3rd day playing, only time this evening. Crashed once on the main menu, then once during a Conquest game I was winning. I've completed about half my games.

Glad I came across this thread and now know I am not the only one! Been getting the same error prompt since Sunday morning. Only completed 1:9 conquest games w/o it triggering, with the other 8:9 games getting before I could finish. I assumed it must be a software thing, as it happened on both Switches that my family owns.

This has happened to me a handful of times as well, during conquest game each time. I keep feeling bad whenever I score more because I feel I'm extending the game and increasing the chance I'll get kicked to the dashboard, so I want to finish the game as quickly as possible. Definitely frustrating.

FWIW - loaded up my game and was prompt an update was required. Went to the homepage and to The Show and an update was downloading. Took about 1-2 minutes, hopefully it's a patch that keeps that error message away

I never got this issue on 23. 24 has so many issues, they just need to actually work on the game

@Drakorn- that’s a bummer! I got lucky, played 2 games and was able to complete both. Even paused for a good amount of time to step away and return to it still paused and not kicked
