Amir Garrett has to be the worst card I have ever used
-
Seriously this card is pure garbage for me. I can't pitch for [censored] with him.
Anyone else have issues pitching with it?
-
I bought his common card on the marketplace trying to build an elite bullpen, and I can't pitch for [censored] with him. I don't know about his diamond card though.
-
No control, bad pitch selection.
Which is accurate for an Amir Garrett card... -
I've had no problems with him... but I guess that depends on your opponent and how you use him. I definitely don't pitch to contact with him.
-
two seam high in and on lefties and slider low away no issues here
-
It's hard to gauge how good any reliever is in this game when they all get tired after 5 pitches.

You bought a common reliever while trying to build an elite bullpen?
-
I used Pearson for the first time and he went 7 perfect with 15 then he got tired and I walked a guy and gave up a double. I was up 2-0 in 8th at that point I bought in Garrett to face his two lefties coming up 1st time using him online and he literally turned yellow tired after 4 pitches...so I was stuck with him for three batters let and let the 2 runs in and loading up the bases with the next 3...brought in Oswalt ro get out of the mess tied and ended up winning 4-2.
Dude has 30 stamina and loses it after 4 pitches, first three were good pitches....so stupid then the 3 better min rule...I'll keep using an ace starter reluctantly for foreseeable future.
-
Its dumb. I hate when people bring in starters In relief, but as long as relievers are this broken I cant blame anyone for doing it.
-
Are you guys fully warming up your relievers? Like not half, to the max. I find it helps
-
Yeah, if you don't warm them up they come in tired, if you do you get 5 to 10 pitches.
-
I do not use lefties out of the pen online unless they will face two lefty hitters, The new rule sucks for the game.
-
Practically a free card, what do you expect! They were pushing blue...and franco with him being the low card. Basically just a gas card....aim for middle of plate and he likely will hit the corners. He okayish for me....good heat pitcher for last outs
-
he won the players tournament not the Cy Young, what was everyone expecting?
-
He’s been solid for me. He throws heat and if you can locate your pitches you should be good. Don’t pitch for contact, you’ll get destroyed.

You bought a common reliever while trying to build an elite bullpen?
Yes. Elite meaning in game, not Diamond rated, etc. No actual money spent just starting out. Thinking how good he should be I figured I would give it a shot. I was wrong.

If you are looking for a decent cheap left handed reliever I think silver Vida Blue is an xp reward, hes also going for about 550 stubs, he is solid for the price

Yeah I just bought him along with Jose Alvarado. So far so good for the price....
-
I Think he is pretty solid and hard as hell to hit if someone knows how to pitch.............
-
I've used him conservatively out of the pen in this event when I know I'll be facing back to back lefties and he's done fine. I think he'd probably be worse on All-Star with his pitch arsenal though.
