Looks like Beltre will be a lock….i mean he’s IN…..also Mauer, Wagner, and Helton with Sheffield right on the precipice. It’s not the full vote but consensus (and history)says if you’re above 80% at this point then you’re in. This will be one of my favorite entry classes if it stays like this!

Sheffield should be in. No one wanted him coming to the plate in a tight game. Also read somewhere that Chase Utley will make it in. Can someone tell me why he would make it and Lou Whitaker does not. It's a real shame that Lou isn't in the Hall.

@rageincage007_XBL Because when Whitaker was on the ballot the BBWAA didn’t have WAR so they used the old school stats when they voted. Now they will use WAR and say Utley belongs in because of his high WAR.

If he makes it in it certainly won’t be this year. That vote tracker shows him hovering about the same place as ARod in the 40% range and you’d need about 80% at this stage in the tally to get in so at least you don’t have to deal with your grief over it this year.
I don’t know about y’all, but I giggled a bit when I saw Bartolo Colon and his .6% Reminds me of the time I entered a write in vote for George Washington in a recent presidential election in which I found zero candidates worth voting for lol.
Someone said, “you know what…to hell with it! I’m voting for Bartolo Colon!” hahaha
