IS anyone else ever wondering what sports tittle will forgo the yearly drop and just make a MLB or Madden Football. Forgo the year to year drops, make one game and constantly update the game as time goes ? Like a warzone, or a fortnite type. New updates would bring new legends yearly, programs could last longer, I have a feeling a sports franchise will do this soon, Wondering when, micro transactions would probably implemented more but at the same time it'd be cool to see how a game could last.

I’d say no because those games are online only. Fortnite has no campaign mode which would be the sports game equivalent of a franchise. You mention War Zone but every once in a while they launch a game that has a campaign which would be their franchise equivalent.

@fubar2k7 you could add in offline features as time goes on. A sports game will eventually do this, its a matter of time, yearly drops are becoming a thing of the past.
