I think if you don’t score in the first couple innings, the opponent’s pitcher confidence can be hard to overcome even with good swings.

Confidence is way too overpowered in the game. That and stamina need to be completely reworked.

Agree on confidence for sure. I still can’t say I even understand how stamina works, especially as regards relievers.
