Put in a bid, and got him, on Finest Harper not realizing that his primary is 1st base.
I already have Incognito David Ortiz in at 1st and Finest Ohtani at DH.
With the secondary position penalty; Finest Harper doesn't surpass Snapshot Rickey in left or NL LS Collection Sosa in right.
Pretty much a 1M bench bat for me.
I am very confident that if you list him the order will go through quickly, just take the 100K loss for being careless.
Already down to 800. I'm just going to keep in and swap him in and out.

That was my biggest argument against his card. Him being firstbase primary.

See I have the exact opposite viewpoint on his primary. Him playing first is the reason I dropped 1 mill on him right away my outfield stays full I have 7 dudes in comfortable with and 3 spots. First base has been harder for me to fill nothing has felt right there all year I had Finest Freeman in there hitting well but i was happy to swap him for Harper because I’m a Padres fan and I hate using Dodgers lol

I wouldn’t use him over either of the 2 McGwire cards or Foxx.

McGwire swing doesn’t work for me and I’ve been struggling with Foxx this year. I’m stoked for Harper at first I kill it with his cards he just never had a spot in the outfield because Trout,Griffey and Acuna are all essentially flawless. I never really get past Soto or Seager at DH so I’m stoked about super juiced Harper at first with some decent D and speed to go with it.

The more I thought about it; the more I decided to keep him.
Since I have three squads, right now, I'll play Harper at 1st on my main team and keep Ortiz at 1st on my Red Sox theme team.

But it makes sense that it is a first card primary and the only position he played in the field was 1B. According to Baseball Statistics in 2023
36 games and 151 plate appearances while playing 1B
89 games and 394 plate appearances while DH
1 game and 1 plat appearance as PH -

For now he is replacing my 1B Santana who is still hitting over .350 for me at P5
online.
I want to get Santander to p5 then I may move Harper to DH. I’ll see how it goes. -

I quote this because this is what I meant. I also demolish the ball with him but for me it would be wasted stubs for the reason stated by Bunny. If anything they should primary DH him since that was his primary spot but primary 1B is fine since they also announced he will be the primary 1B in the future.

Finest Freeman out of your lineup is bad baseball. Put him back
