Set 1 card prices are nuts.
-
Have you seen the 900k set 1 card? It's not nearly worth it.
Why are most of the cards over 100k?
-
Because of the event. As we near set 6. They’ll all go up

ECON 101 - Supply and Demand
-
It isn’t just supply and demand in this game. People set a price and don’t go and adjust the price because this game won’t allow you to adjust prices for cards. 4 Tori Hunter cards are all nearly a million. 4 Brian Wilson cards and 1 is nearly a million and 3 are about 200k. Same supply but not the same outrageous prices. The game forces you to blindly set a price and as far as my experience doesn’t let you adjust the price.

Both top price "nearly a million"?
Sounds the same.

If the entire gaming community locks in all their Set 1 cards for collections...and they're not released again...there's no more supply. Number Retirement, Great Race, etc...packs are released constantly...High Supply, lower costs. BR Rewards, Ranked Rewards, Limited Time Packs = Low Supply, High Cost. Add in Non-Sell Packs = Lower Supply, Higher Cost.
-
For me there is no reason this choice packs and such shouldn’t be reissued
Don’t waste my time with show packs and BIAH packs in season 6 just fill it with legends and throwbacks from sets 1-5

The problem is this game won’t allow you to adjust the prices and once you pull a card off the market it makes it non sellable. I took Vlad Guerrero boss card at the All Star break then thought I wouldn’t use him because I had Buck O’Neil and I posted him for 500k. The amount was high and I wanted to lower it so I can move him. It wouldn’t allow me to lower the price. I had to cancel it. It made him non sellable. Those people are probably more stubborn than me. Those cards could be posted for sale by people not playing anymore.
All cards obtained in events or BR or RS are lower supply. Not just set 1.

If you own the card...you can sell it for whatever price you want. I'm not sure what you're trying to say here. If you post the card at 500K and I've got the same card...I post it at 499,999 so mine sells before yours. You have to cancel your Sell Order and post it at 499,998 to come in below me...that's how the marketplace works.

Just wait until season 6. They are going nosedive
Fast as soon as they release rewind Set 1 cards and all the diamond duos packs that include set 1 cards are tossed at everyone like candy out of a pinata -
Removing a sell order doesn't make it no sell, you can relist it as many times as you want

I cancelled HR Derby Vlad Jr and it listed him as no sell. Those aren’t no sell cards last I checked. Why wasn’t I able to post him?
Back to my other point. If those players quit playing the game how can they cancel the order and/or reduce the price?

If he is marked as "No-Sell" on the card then you collected him in a collection somewhere. That's the only way a sellable card can be marked as No-Sell.
Back to your other point - If a player quits playing, why would they need to cancel their order? If someone is willing to Buy Now at their price and they're the next in line...then the card is purchased and the stubs go into their account.
