Getting concerned about RS and BR rewind packs

Can someone help me remember? I believe that in the last few years or so with the advent of br and RS reward paths, so long as you did the reward path every season, you were able to obtain all the br and RS cards. In years past, they only had 2 rewards for most of the br/RS seasons. Now they have 3 rewards each time. At what point do they typically start introducing rewind packs?
Right now for RS we are on season 7, so we have been introduced to 21 cards and if you complete the RS rewards program each season you’d have obtained 7 leaving 14 cards remaining. If season 8 doesn’t have any new cards, but just rewards rewind packs, then we would need to receive ~3 rewind packs over the next 5 months, assuming each season is ~30 days and the next game is released in late march. If they add new RS content this month, then they’ll need to increase the rewind packs even more because we’ll have 24 cards less the eight collectible through the program and one less month.

They would argue you had the chance to earn all 3 World Series rewards throughout the year:
Card #1: 100 Ranked points in Program
Card #2: Reach World Series in Solo Ranked
Card #3: Reach World Series in Co-Op RankedThey'll have to go to Rewind packs at some point (they're not releasing new cards forever), but whether that's next Friday or some time later, only Coach knows.

This would be a mistake. I hope they don’t go this route.
