True, you're not wrong and usually I don't get upset about it. One or two days is understandable. This is now 5 days with no updates over 24 hours. The fact that a company cares this little about us and so many people come on here to mock us is what pisses a lot of us off.

Or some of us have the other console too, but since I mostly play on the switch while my kid is going to sleep at night and then on the couch while watching TV with my wife, the other console side is usually later at night. So it is a convenience factor as well.

Hopefully Nintendo will take care of you guys when it all gets resolved. I can’t remember what Sony gave us back in the day when they got hacked. It was so long ago and my memory sucks lately.

Nintendo has nothing to do with this. Trust me sds would be making sure we knew it was Nintendo if that we’re the case

Yeah, no way they wouldn’t be passing the blame. Also if it was a fix to software needing a patch, and it was hung up in Nintendo approval, they’d say that too.
Also, people on Reddit have messaged through Nintendo support as well and they consistently keep saying it’s not on their end and to contact SDS.

They should offer us a voucher to purchase the game on another system because likely I doubt it will be fixed today or tomorrow. As I said before they just don't care enough about nintendo switch fanbase otherwise they would have fixed the issues instead of promoting content that part of their fan base can't access. To be honest....I'm not surprised one bit.....I'm glad nintendo will be releasing better games next year I can replace baseball with.

I just can’t see how it’s SDS if it’s just the Nintendo version of the game. Seems like it would be the entire game for all 3 platforms. For it to be limited to just the one it seems to a novice person like me that it’s the console at fault.

Are the other online based games you play on your Switch cross-play with either Microsoft or Sony games?
Them being able to fix their own and Microsoft’s issue quickly is another indicator that Nintendo is having issues.

It could still be on SDS end. They don’t use the same server hardware to host all the platforms. They’d be segmented and likely different server racks as a whole. So it’s possible to have failure on a set of servers that doesn’t take down all platforms. Of course since we haven’t even been told a concept of the root cause, we are just left to speculate. I just can’t see SDS taking all the abuse they are willingly if it was out of their hands when they could point a finger elsewhere.

While I agree this has gone on too long, lets not pretend that SDS is any better at communicating with PS or MS users when there are problems on those platforms.
I definitely think communication could be better but I don't automatically associate a lack of updates with a lack of effort on their part to fix it, especially since none of us know what the underlying cause is. It could be hardware failure, software failure, maybe Sony or Nintendo made a networking change that broke it.
It sucks. I have empathy. I hope that it gets resolved soon and there is some compensation for the downtime (although based on the past I also believe that nobody will feel like the compensation is adequate).
It's the whole "SDS hates my console complaint", which reminds me of the "SDS hates my team" posts, that gets a little tiresome. I understand the frustration and disappointment, and support everyone's right to complain about it. But the persecution complex is a little much.
