@BxnnyMxn__PSN surprised not to see you on here.
I kinda gave myself the role of “MLB Postseason Hype Man” this year huh lol I’m still here just in the shadows a bit. I’ve been a bit of a busier bee that usual here lately but I’m finding time to listen to the games. I find the first wild card round so anticlimactic bordering on depressive so I try and avoid it. Seriously all that heartache blood sweat and tears as the season wraps up only to be extinguished as quickly as a vapor in a couple of games. It hurts man. It hurts.
It’ll be Braves v. Astros or Phillies v. Astros.
I like the Braves in five but Phillies if she goes six or seven. I cannot help but feel like the high point will be the NLCS with whomever emerges victorious being so battle worn to the point of being disadvantageous during the WS.
Advantage AL but I’m going to predict it’ll be the Braves over the Astros in Five
Mundane? Mundane!?!? What? What is this I am hearing?
A grand slam
Jax bowling over Bichette
Bad calls
Great calls
Double plays
Busted double plays
Great defense
Awful defense
Great (okay - so none of them are Mantle, Gehrig, or Gwynn) hitters that couldn't get a hit
So-so hitters that jacked them out of the parkMundane? Okay.
I'll reserve your pick for the WS round. Go back to sleep

This is a best of 5 round i believe, so no chance it goes 7 games lol
The braves in 5 but phils in 6 or 7 was a WS prediction.

Hey I’m calling a vocabulary foul lol
(Remember “Barbosa” from the Pirates or the Caribbean movies? Good…use his voice when reading the following line…)
“Bleeder, you be forgettin’ I’m a wordsmithy! Arrrgh…Yar …….AVAST ye scurrilous sea dog! Shiver me Timbers!!!“

I could see the Phillies beating the Braves. If Rangers beat Orioles I dont think its a big upset, as Orioles are so young. I feel Dodgers and Astros advance. As a heavily invested fan in one of these teams I refuse to give any further predictions. Same as why I dont even use my team Icon during the season. Superstitious maybe.

i’m unofficially 1-1. got the rangers right! (ima rangers fan) i’ll make some picks to join the party before the Al and NLDS
If @Ericulous1_PSN doesn't care, I'll add you into the grid. I just need your 4 picks for the wild card.
All are welcome, no fortunes being wagered haha. I was 1 for 4 on the WC round

Omg I’m so fired up for the Braves and Phillies. What an epic bout this should be
I think I’m going to go ahead and make my decision and say it’ll be the Phillies winning the WS against the Astros in a full seven game series possibly six.
Dodgers will beat the Dbacks and the Phillies will take out the Dodgers in five games.
For the record though I’d like to say whomever wins the Braves v Phillies will more than likely be the WS Winner.
AL I expect Carlos Correa to continue his October magic with a fantastic series against his former team but the Astros will emerge victorious.
By the way I believe Verlander is starting his thirteenth post season Game 1….and I believe we have Kershaw starting his twelfth! How about that for cool? I’m pretty sure these are at the top of the list. I know Verlander has something like 35 starts in the playoffs.
Experience simply cannot be overstated in the post season.
I think the Orioles and Rangers will be a fun lights out series and I’d be pleased with either outcome if I’m honest. On one hand you end up with an all Texas ALCS and on the other you get the young and incredibly early peaking fan favorite Orioles in the Championship with a shot at immortality.
Since someone must be selected I’ll take the Orioles. Regardless of outcome here I just don’t see anyone getting past the Astros because now they’re hitting stride and this is their wheelhouse.
Astros will represent the AL and will give the NL team ALL they want in the WS but I give the crown to the winner of Braves v Phillies. I believe the Phillies have the ultimate edge with those excellent deadline moves they made. I felt like they tipped the scale and made themselves very very deep for a run.
The fun will be to sit back and watch. I would not mind a single bit if I’m wrong about a few of these as it would make for a much much different dynamic. Heck I’d absolutely love to see the Twins play Arizona for it all and I think that would be a great battle but alas i don’t see it happening.
I cannot wait for tonight

I see Max Scherzer was left off the ALDS. As a Dodgers fan this doesn’t surprise me. Is he gonna blame the Rangers for underusing him?

Isn't he hurt? I thought he had a session on Friday to see if he was ready to come back, not on the IL but day to day, but still not ready.

He is hurt but didn’t look too shabby I thought. We gotta remember the manager for the Rangers is a genius. I expect Bochy is counting on using him against the Astros and beyond once they’re past the O’s. Tight game right now this afternoon.
Come on come on 6:07pm!
ps how about Evan Carter

No comment. I’ll sound like a hater. Just look at the seasons between the championships. He’s no Joe Torre. I think he’s a very good manager but I don’t think he’s one of the greatest.

Texas bullpen looked strong today which I didn’t expect to see. I still think the Os will regroup. On to the next game! What a beautiful gorgeous October day here in the South….it’s my birthday fellas!

Who has more 1st inning homers than anyone in post season history lol. Hint he’s already done it today

I assume Jose Altuve just because he number 2 behind Manny in post season homers.

Here I sit in Seattle on a cruise ship named Bliss. Waiting to sail for Alaska. I see Bunny excited as all get up. I see Fubar ragging as usual (there’s no way you had clients as much as you hate people) I digress. I saw T-Mobile today and could care less about baseball for the next week. Y’all have fun.
