I said Mariners over the DBs 6 weeks ago. With the Ms not making the playoffs, I'm gonna have to go with the Diamondbacks.
Most impressive bracket Mr Toy. Most impressive.
Thank you sir. The DBs are better than their record. Carroll could be the heir apparent to Trout. What better way to show it. The Os and DBs are showing us what the young bucks can do. Beautiful thing to see. It's also nice to see Marte showing us what he can do again.
They won 84 games and scored less runs than they gave up. San Diego underperformed them into second place. And the Dodgers suck.
Why did you pick them over the Rangers? The NL west, in my opinion, is the toughest division in the NL, second to ALW in the MLB. Luck is a part of baseball though. Sometimes you go up against a team fully healthy and on a hot streak, while you have three starters out and your superstar is slumping. Sometimes it's the other way. All you can do is hope you win enough games while you're hot.

They’re the NL team. I never pick the AL team. They could be playing the 1927 Yankees and I’d pick them. I literally never pick the AL.

We got us a World Series starting tonight fellers
-
Adolis Garcia does it again, just don't pitch to him anymore lol. Rangers now lead the series 1-0
-
What a first game! A comeback with extra innings.
The pool has been updated. Remember, we now have a game-by-game leaderboard.
-
I thought Adolis garcias defense also looked awesome too last night to say nothing about his bat. I fell asleep right before the opening pitch and just watched the condensed game but man that catch Bombi made off that absolute missile hit by Carroll was incredibly clutch. I thought Taveres looked terrible in center and how’s about the bullpen for Texas my gosh they did excellent all things considered. What a first game! How about Eovaldi he looked superb out there. I hope Shohei and Degromm are taking notes on how to succeed on the bump after a second Tommy John lol
-
The series is tied! The pool has been updated.

Just finished watching the playback from game two. Merril Kelly’s command was incredible. I felt like I was watching Greg Maddux pitch and I can personally think of no higher complement for a hurler. Impressive.
Speaking of impressive how’s about Ketel Marte? This man has played in 18 post season games in his career and has hit safely in ALL of them! He set the record last night in his 5th trip to the plate. Think about this for a minute….THAT is an incredible accomplishment. Who knows where it might end but regardless he’ll have his name at the top for quite a while. Heck the only streak I’ve ever had is a brown one in my underwear.

Anyone else feel like hyping WS Game Three? I hate to hog all the fun
-
Daaaaang Señor Octubre with the cannon
-
Scherzer, Sborz, and Adolis all leave due to injury in game 3 victory for the Rangers. Game ends 3-1. Rangers lead series 2-1. WP: Jon Gray (1-0) LP: Brandon Phaadt (0-1) SV: Jose Leclerc (4)
-
I missed Sborz leaving with an injury. That's huge, along with Adolis. I hope that it's just a cramp and not serious!
The pool has been updated.
-
Sborz didn't leave with an injury he is fine, he only ever pitches one inning and with them having to play 3 in a row they try to limit the amount of pitches that they they throw, plus no one is talking about him being injured
-
‘Twas Scherzer and Adolis that I hoid. They were saying on radio that Garcia strained an oblique but not certain. Hope he makes it back - that throw he made was sensational

my bad. i thought he was definitely injured after they brought him out to warm up in the 8th then they brought in chapman without him throwing a game time pitch.

BTW @samguenther1987 - thank you for the tip on how to get Charisma Arozarena. I was even able to keep the Franco card after they gave me the new card. I would have put this in the original thread, but it got locked. Thank you again! (I didn't want to start a whole new thread for this).
