1:6 odds for program packs is absolute trash

It’s a wonder that any of us are still playing based on how aggressively they have given up on content since Madden dropped.
I’m trying to stick with it, but after pulling two worthless low golds from my first program reward it’s hard to get amped to play showdown and conquest for the millionth time this year…
Edit: now 4/4 on worthless golds.

Yep. I just got 14 packs after I hear the showdown and got 1 Diamond. Lots of fun.

I have gotten 3 Stargells. So far. Pack odds have been good. It’s shocking that you’ve gotten 4 out of 4 golds so far when the odds are 1 to 6. Who would have thought? There is a crazy amount of the packs in the program, conguest, showdown, and events to get every card pretty easily and then some.

Madbum is the only card appealing to me. Is he base round? Super cheap.

He is base round but your likely to get a gold instead. Best to just buy them

Stargell in the first pack, nothing but golds the rest of the night.
Did get Luis Gonzalez in the Duo choice pack. That might be the least deserved 99 ever. He only played one season for the Tigers and had just over 2 WAR if memory serves.

Just opened 14, got all golds, only one non duplicate.

Opened up a JUMBO pack and got two new cards rest duplicates. I love this game. You grind to open packs and you get 20 free agent 54 overall relief pitchers.

More and more, I'm being driven back to Franchise where I played happily (and ignorant of what DD was) for years. @Texas10pt_MLBTS has the right idea. Create a team of 99s in Franchise, have some fun, and don't worry about DD at all.

maybe I'm just lucky, but I've pulled every card except Troy Glaus, and that includes pulling Stargell twice. They aren't even expensive cards

after CQ and from the program, I am 4 for 17 one was a dupe. 1 in 6 is 16.7% so I'm ahead of the game, good thing these packs are plentiful.

I got Stargel four times. My odds were 1:3 I think. Just missing Madbum at this point.

I opened 16 so far and pulled Madbum, Stargell and Schmidt. Just a tad ahead of the advertised 1:6.

I am actually good with how this is set up and feel like all programs should have had packs like this instead of choice packs like the number retirement or the 98 chase.
It at least keeps packs interesting especially when they cant be purchased in the pack shop.

Choice packs are a guaranteed 10k at least

At least these packs are free, good thing too because i wouldn't spend even a stub to get them if they were.

15 f-in packs and 15 f-in golds. SDS has completely lost touch on how to design fun. I would rather have choice pack were I get 95s (which I will never use) that 4 progress towards the program then a 1 in 6 chance of getting something good. Even if you give away these packs like water some people are going to get nothing and it makes for a miserable experience for them. It just drives wedge between the lucky and the unlucky. I am irrationally mad at people that actually have drawn a diamond from these bogus packs.
Update: 19 golds and counting….
Update 2: pulled a diamond on the 22 pack. If I did my math correctly there was a 2% chance that the first diamond would be on pack 22. I am bitter and frustrated.
