Okay this is beyond bizarre. I’m on like attempt number 50 for this moment after finishing every other one in the first couple of attempts. Between the pick off attempts, numerous line outs, perfect perfect fly balls caught at the wall , balls hooking foul just before the foul pole, and just general lack of exit velocity something is way off. Coincidentally this is the last moment left in the program and it’s funny that the game is seemingly saying nope you are doing this too fast so time to slow your roll. This isn’t the first time I’ve noticed this type of thing but it is by far the worst I’ve experienced first hand. Sometimes the programming on the game makes me question what is going on under the hood.

I felt the same way about the McGwire hit 2 home runs in one game moment (i gave up on it for now) nothing but warning track shots, CPU trying to pick off a 79 speed runner 79! They even pitched out a few times. Like where is he going to go if he runs? The CPU is a complete joke and it just seems to be getting worse.

Hmmm that’s the same in the Lowe moment as Arozarena is 79 speed as well. Very strange.

Basically just inconsistency at its best which is what this game is becoming known for. I know programming a baseball game can’t be easy but the amount of RNG that takes place makes it more unpredictable than real baseball which says a lot. Sometimes the game plays abnormally easy or abnormally difficult for absolutely no reason.
