Did fastballs get faster?

I took a break for a few days and just came back after the last two patches. Now dudes are throwing low 90s fastballs right by me. Did something change? I can't catch up to a fastball to save my life all of a sudden

They say they didn't touch gameplay but I think they went to universal pitch speeds for All Star and HOF. The difference seems like it's just PCI size now. Just what it seems like to me. I'm actually okay with it personally, because it seems like Battle Royale is not as bad. I still don't throw a lot of four seamers but it seems possible to pitch now.

I can't catch up to anything and people I'm playing can't either so it has just seemed strange

You know, you might be right. I’ll have to play a RS game on All Star later, but I was getting blown away the first couple days of faster pitch speeds (post 1.05? 1.06?) and now I’m ok with them in the HOF event.

Yes, at some point in the last week they did. I think it was 1.05.

If they went to universal pitch speeds that would be amazing. Readjusting between AS and HoF is so bad.

Yea i just played ranked and faced Oswalt on All-Star I hadnt played ranked in a week. 12-2 and at 502 and been ahead of everything...couldnt touch his heat first few innings...
Luckily I started Pearson for the first time and dude could touch his heat he was perfect through 7 ing with 15 k's but had 95 pitches
