This New Card Series

Here's the thing... SDS in my opinion wanted to change things up and for the most part I like the New Card Series that they have released... they could fix the names on the Incognito cards and make them last names so they display in places where last names display but besides that I like that we got fun new card series like Captain, Charisma, Incognito, Kaiju (okay outside of David Wright, maybe not Kaiju... but only because the other GBL teams didn't get themed cards), and now Snapshot. As much as I love the previous card series that are all primarily Core cards it adds a new element to the game... we'll see where they go in Sets 5 and 6.
Maybe next year they figure out a way to not repeat as many guys, mainly releasing multiple cards of one player in the same season but I'm all for what they did this year... I'd keep this same format but tighten it up and maybe add a year long XP Reward Path to go along with the Season XP Reward Paths... also what I'd also like to see is other missions and moments added to the Season XP or Game Long XP reward paths... in fact I'd have it be similar to how Great Egg Hunt was where you essentially had things from different modes included except maybe more straight forward.
I'd also have Events run a little longer, in Showdown I feel like you should GAIN OUTS if you tie the game... and make a few more missions repeatable... and another cool thing would be to add more lineup slots because I was hoping to have a lineup for each season at the end of the year but only had four slots

I've said this a few times now but sets gotta go unless they dramatically increase the # of legends they have in the game. The player pool is way too small this year for sets, which is why we have 4 Ryan Howards or 25 Kyle Schwarbers or whatever it is now. That repetition makes an already tedious grind BRUTAL.
I also think high diamonds on day 1 was a mistake and shoudn't be repeated. There's little feeling of progression this year and I believe that's why.

I like the OP's 'gain more outs' in Showdown.
I miss the steady progression, where the Live Series meant something. I remember the Gold Yermin Mercedes card from a few years back that held the fort well until we steadily gained Diamonds. That is sorely missed, but at the same time it's hard letting go of your God Squad in January or February. We got them day 1 which is bad and good.
