Lmao I'll have some of what you're having bud, because your definition of casual is wildly off base. Less than 1 percent of the player base will complete this Extreme program, which I'm sure is the same as it is every year, and the actual casuals won't even attempt it. That's completely fine because Extreme is designed to push the best players to their limits. I'd love to see data on how many people get to even 50 points in the program.

I am only at 30 points after about 5 hours lol. Have to admit they did bump it up a bit after making it way too easy last year. I failed showdown 3 times. Gonna have to focus to beat it. Was too hell bent on doing a hundred other things tonight. I like it. It is gonna be fun.

People that want video games to be harder because they want a challenge need to realize it’s a video game and if they want a challenge then go out and do something meaningful in life. Unless you are being paid to play this game you are not elite and are in the same boat as the rest of us “casuals”. Playing as a diversion from the daily grind of real life. This elitist mindset is equal parts frustrating and sad.

I spent 8 hours and got hardly nothing accompished except the worst headache in my life. I'll try to get Ketel and the rest can [censored] off. Not worth it imo.
Needing outfielders to fall down or misplay a ball to get a triple puts way too much luck into it. Getting triples in a tiny field is almost impossible.

Hey Louis L’amour in my defense I listened to your sage advice and initiated a ban. Sadly, one of my buddies growing up was trolling back when it was still referred to as “being a creepy, cowardly and narcissistic halfwit” and let me tell you it consumed him. Twenty years later he’s one of the most bitter, unhappy, and altogether wretched human beings that I’ve certainly ever met or even read about. All they want wish to achieve is to somehow bring others with them to their hellish and unhappy life that they’ve created for themselves. No thank you.
I’m also thankful that some of the forum veterans, such as yourself @TEXAS10PT_PSN, were willing to give me, still very much a rookie here, the heads up. Thank you. I got no time nor no love for trolls.

LoL... at even casuals can complete it. I would love to hear your definition of a casual. I consider myself somewhere between a casual and hard-core playing an average of 8-12 hours per week and I haven't even completed close to half the programs/content released this year, and I have no issues with difficulty. If you are somebody who can keep up with all this content all year long... you are so far from casual, you can't even begin to understand what casual is. Hardcores have no reason to complain about "too easy to complete" in this game, because you need to play this game like a 40 hour a week job to keep up with it even if you are awesome and can play on legend.... that alone is hardcore and extreme. No casuals are playing all this content on HOF and I can promise you that. Casuals are not even going to try... so relax and go get some fresh air.

My goal is to complete it in less than an hour at which point I expect everyone on this forum to scream in concert:

I agree. One could argue 2020 was too difficult with no other way to get Nate Pearson without completing every single part of the program which was extreme! One could argue 2022 was too easy. I think this year is a good middle ground of the two.
