So I was in the process of completing the free agents collection and it completed at 177 instead of 200 and now I can’t collect the rest of the players. Is this normal or is there something I can do? Might be a stupid question any helps appreciated
That is strange. I just checked mine and it allowed me to collect all 200. Submit a ticket and hope for a response.

I let the CPU steal and advance baserunners for me. Happens sporadically, but the CPU will “forget” to advance the runners. I’m left pressing RB (Xbox) to get the runner to go to the next base.
Seems to happen when I’m way ahead in a game. Definitely random.
??? The game automatically advances your base runners? I have never encountered nor heard of this before. Please provide a video if possible. Granted, I play on PS5 but this is new to me on any platform. Thanks.
He has auto baserunning on.
Shows how much I have ever delved in to the settings. Didn't realize you could do that or why someone would do it. Oh well, to each their own!
My girlfriend’s son uses auto base running and I don’t think the icon shows on the baseball diamond in the upper right hand corner. I’m not sure how these people can actually try and advance or return them if they don’t actually know where they are.
As someone who uses auto base running exclusively, I’ll chime in.
I dont normally care when I’m playing where the base runner is or what base they are going to, I let the CPU make those decisions for me.
CPU normally does a pretty good job handling all that. I have little to no complaints. It is not agressive in stealing. That’s about the main issue for me.
The issue is the one I posted above. At random times, the CPU doesn’t move the runners. They will be halfway to the next base and just stand there. When I see it, I hit RB or LB (Xbox) and advance them manually. If I see it soon enough. If not, they are out.
Why do I let CPU run for me? I simply want to hit and pitch with my A, B, X, and Y buttons. Hit homers and strikeout the CPU while drinking a cold one! Ha
I think I get it now. You are visually watching your runners so you can make the adjustment if needed while I’m watching the ball itself and diamond in the upper corner so I can manually control each runner. Right?

I like how a ball hit that CLEARLY looks like it will land in a gap, be over the OF's head, or through an infield gap when suddenly, the defender "glitches" the needed distance to make the play at the very last moment.
I saw a really bad one of those in the reddit thread once. Guy hit a clean line drive single headed up the middle, and the infielder teleported at least 35 feet from where he was to suddenly in perfect fielding position. What should have been an RBI single was a free double play for the defender.

And I fall for it EVERY YEAR!!!
Probably will next year, too.And that's why they are becoming EA 2.0. I didn't get 22, and didn't get 23. I see nothing that makes me want 24 at the moment.
All those people foolishly payed for "early access". From what I see early access equals "half a game". They still haven't fixed anything other that what costs SDS money via microtransactions.
Until people stop buying until the game is complete and bug free they won't bother to fix ANYTHING, and why should they? If someone is going to pay full price for a broken game, where is their motivation to change?

At the Orioles stadium, if the ball rolls into the crevice where the wall depth is different, the outfielder runs into the wall and can grab the ball from like 10 feet away.
I have seen videos of that online. One of them was in that little triangle area of Fenway. I think I saw it in PNC park too. Something about oddly shaped walls breaks something on the defense.

This entire MLB the show 23 game.
Plays like a knotted Yoyo.

To be honest, I have NEVER played a game that didn't have some type of bug or glitch, and that is fine. However, once the Devs have been made aware of said bug/glitch, FIX it!
I am certain they spend a great deal of time getting new content drops ready to roll but it seems little time addressing a lot of the bugs being encountered.
The Mini season roster issue has been going on since release and is still occurring. That is just poor customer service. Give out a specified number of TA vouchers to every player and then shut Mini seasons down so it can be de-bugged if that is what must happen to fix it.
Bottom line is there are steps that can be taken to fix some of these issues but SDS, it seems, has chosen to ignore them.

If you were Pinocchio your nose would be about 12 inches long because I doubt you encounter a bug every single game.
I’ve played thousands of games since I had what I’ve seen what was described above years ago in San Diego in left against the warehouse. So long ago this forum and bug reports didn’t exist.

My nose, would be exactly the same size it has always been. Every game I have ever played for any length of time has had a "bug" or a "glitch". COD, Battlefield, NBA, MLBTS, Star Wars, Gran Turismo, Rainbow 6, Madden, Pitfall, Frogger, Pong, Super Mario Bros., etc.. all have bugs or glitches. Ive been playing video games since the late 70s, so, going as far back as the Atari 2600, 5200, Nintendo, Genesis, PS 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5, every game has some sort of bug or glitch. It may be minor like instead of walking through water, the character looks like they're walking on the water, or it can be something like being able to run the same play over & over in Techmo or hitting the jumping out of bounds 3 pointer from the baseline. EVERY game has a glitch or a bug.
What I did not say, was that I experience a bug or glitch every time I play a specific game.
BTW, your last paragraph, complete gibberish.
