Both are good. Mize more of a finesse pitcher, easy to control. Pearson harder to control but blows people away with that fastball. Depends on your pitching style

Had Kopech and I didn't do well with him. Whitley was decent.

Mize is a master. Pearson throws hard and wild like kopech. If your opponent can hit fb's then you're screwed. Mize has a way better repertoire and is much more controllable. Think of Mize as Kluber and Pearson as nolan ryan. If ryan is not good and controllable for you then pearson won't be.

I’ve been completely dominant with Pearson. I can control him. I couldn’t with Kopech so I sold him. Good hitters would just wait him out because they knew you couldn’t throw it consistently for out pitches. With Pearson I’ve been able to really sit people down.
Mize started out that way, but he started getting hit hard so I sold him. I didn’t want to have a ton tied up on these prospect pitchers in case they tank. So I only kept Pearson.
