Yea, game sucks. I would rather re-watch a 20 year old tv show than play people with their connections. Just isn't fun.
I despise offline play as it is very boring but it is better than the online play.
And I'd rather slide down a razor blade into a container of vinegar than listen to you continually p!ss and moan about connections every other day.
Yes I fall victim to it as well but my god man, find something else do spend your time on if you are not happy or stop buying a product you KNOW doesn't have ping based matchmaking.
No kidding. Shut up already demise

As of today the game currently stands at 37th on Xbox. Those are facts…
OOOOFFFF....

I dunno. I've had little trouble finding a RS or non DD ranked game.
No issues finding games in online rated either

I feel like Set 3 release will be the critical point in this game cycle. If it bombs the game is dead in the water.
-
For the casual player once set 3 begins their interest in the the game will be over because their set one cards are no longer usable on-line (except in the wild card spot) and the idea of starting over will not appeal to them. For the hard core fans it doesn't really matter what SDS does as long as they push out content.

I'm a hardcore fan and Season 3 will be another mindless grind for 97 players. I'm done with the game except for Leagues. Only thing keeping me going.

I just swing by during work. At night I am usually playing another game or watching a TV show/movie.

That's and crying on the forums.

Wow game feels dead. Still seeing set 1 cards in line up....
And you will for another like 9 days. Probably will see 1 in every lineup after that for a month.

Learned a new word this week I see? And set 1 is still useable anywhere. And since its time is coming up soon, yes, you will be seeing them everywhere. Once set 3 drops no one will care though.
-
I don't think so. It is a little quiet right now with the season winding down, but things should pick back up next week with Season 3 and All-Star content. I'm looking forward to it.
-
Game feels more of a chore than fun. So many stupid cards you have to use to finish programs.
-
Played so many games and put so much time into it. Got to 10 event wins. Played RS - 15 games or so in last 4 days.
Got about 10 new cards and 5k stubs and about 20 packs I got nothing in.
All of that for what, 15 hours?
Eesh.
You don’t even get the 250 stubs for completing a moment anymore. Scandal.

I cant compare to last year, but as someone who usually plays at off peak times (live in Australia) I never have to wait more than a minute for a match in any of three online modes.
There have also been two MAJOR games released recently from popular franchises (although neither are on XBOX so wouldn't influence that rating)
SDS is probably seeing something in their internal metrics they don't like, or they wouldn't have sent out the survey, but the games is still very active.
The set 1 -> set 3 turnover will be interesting. I am so sick of seeing those boring set 1 lineups so I can't wait personally, but I would be surprised if it didn't cause some people to drop off.

I've been trying to call my friend Stockton to ask him this question. He is an expert on implosions, but I can't reach him at the moment.

The absolute filler in DD and the lack of bug fixes has really killed my interest and it's not even July yet oh well maybe next year

I have played this game pretty much to "completion" (every card in the game) for the past several years. Here is why I quit before Memorial Day (and am done for the year): I COULDN'T KEEP UP. Everything felt like a time crunch. Always stressing to finish this or finish that. The thought of then completing that grind and repeating that stress through multiple seasons led me to look at this game as more of a job than a release...and I would prefer for my downtime to be spent decompressing rather than stressing. Add to this the fact that the best cards are locked behind packs and expensive on the open market and I realized quite quickly that I wasn't going to "complete" this game...so I quit. I think the game play is fine for the most part, but SDS has succeeded in creating a job that you don't get paid for and can never complete. No thanks!

Very well said! I was in a very similar situation. I decided to pick just a few things I do…RS, BR and TN/POTM. It was hard for me to break that mentality of having to do everything but I finally got there and it has been so much more enjoyable. There is no question that they created a game this year designed to keep people playing all the time. I really can’t imagine completing all of these programs. Even if I completed half of them, I would never get to use the cards I actually wanted to use.
