Not hard at all challenging at times for sure but 337-79 in online rated while only using the Reds on HOF hitting and legend pitching
Did they ban the cheaters that make the top10 by freezing games? I hope they did

If a pitcher irl gets 12 strikeouts in a game, he’s going to get a Topps Now Moment and a five day supercharge. In RS 12 strikeouts happens every game. But people are going to say nothing is wrong?
If you strike out 12 times in a game on allstar then it’s on you
You need to practice more- I bet if we watch you play and see how un patient you are at the plate and your approach
It would be easy to see why u strike out 12 times a game
Practice practice practice… and by that I don’t mean just go into ranked and play bc you’re not in the practice mind state- at that point you’re too worried/nervous about winning
Go into casual 1v1 allstar or HOF and form an approach at the plate- do this a lot and I promise you it works

I have struck out 12 times before but I don’t every game. Usually I’m around 5 strikeouts per game. However, I routinely strike out 12 or more of my opponents.
As I mentioned in other comments: this game is too hard for the casual player. I am not the casual player. The increased difficulty does affect me, but it doesn’t cripple me. I am still winning the same percentage of games I always have, just having less fun doing it.
In my opinion, the increased difficulty has crippled the casual player. I was trying to state an objective fact: it has become harder to score runs in MLB The Show between 2015 and now. I also believe that if they make it any more difficult to score, they will lose casual players.
Whats sad is you can always tell when your opponent is going to quit. It’s something like the fourth inning. You’ve put a few runs on the board, but your opponent has struck out 9 times already. Then they get a perfect perfect that results in a line out…Quit. I don’t necessarily blame them. It’s demoralizing to not be able to put the ball in play.
Thanks for the advice, though. Maybe I will practice more.

Don’t forget the cpu blasting random HRs on great pitches and being very early on 103 mph fastballs. Yes at times the cpu just hangs meatballs and flails away but on rookie difficulty they shouldn’t be laying off borderline pitches, dotting the strike zone, blasting 103 mph fastballs, you can tell when it just feels “off”.
-
Inconsistent is the one word I would use to describe rookie difficulty. One time it feels easy and the next the cpu is sitting on a great pitch, dotting the strike zone, and nibbling just off the plate to get weak contact.

It's like the 30 handicapper who throws his clubs but never practices or if he does he just hits a driver on the range and then walks right past the short game area.

You talking about conquest? If so I agree 100%, it was my favorite part of DD for a long time but this year it just feels so different, i don't know if it's harder but i've deffinetly seen the cpu dotting its pitches a lot more this year and the simulation is just riddiculus at this point, i had 25 fans to 8 against the cpu on the most recent map and lost 0-4.

But also, teams aren’t hitting .450 with 20 homeruns a game either.

My biggest issue is timing windows , sometimes in early on 101 mph up and in , then I'm late on 87 mph slider . What ? I know it's probably based on pitcher / batter attributes and my opponents input . But it's frustrating nonetheless.

AS I generally average 10-15hits a game. A lot of it depends on my ability to not swing at everything. Being patient makes a world of difference. It really unsettles the other player. (And me when the other guy is taking dots just missing!)
Connection wise. They really need to sort out the fact mLb stadiums still don’t play well and cause input lag in my opinion. You do notice on custom stadiums even away on a basic stadium the game plays smoothly.
I’m not convinced the connection to each other causes a problem. I play from the UK and barely get any lags which I notice. Yet again. I don’t play at peak US times so maybe that makes a difference.
HoF to me is horrible. I played a game earlier to get over 700 on it. I won 2-0 in 7. About 7 hits between us. Just isn’t fun tbh.
Want a small park on AS and lose 17-15 any day.
