Sds is worse that EA

There is no in game currency that can only be purchased with real money, and there are no cards or packs tied to said currency, that alone makes you wrong in my opinion. EA is much worse and has a track record to show it.
With that said, there are many things SDS absolutely needs to clean up or fix, I am in no way saying they are perfect.

I guess you’ll be leaving for their cartoon baseball game then. Bye.

Look, SDS isn’t exactly consumer friendly I think we can all agree on that, but I do t think you've played enough EA titles to understand just how terrible they are. They’ve been sued a couple times over “loot box gambling”, and their tendency to use “ice tilt/DDA” to to screw people out of wins especially when overmatching an opponent.
Does SDS have a rubberbanding issue in games? For sure. Scripting? No. They also at least make attempts to look at and implement what their player base is asking for. Sometimes it just takes WAY longer than it should, or it just blows up in their face(IE non sellable rewards, massive L).
EA goes “we listened, but we did what we wanted anyways even though it made the game worse”
-
This game is cheaper than MUT at least. You want to talk about pay to play? This game is like the dollar store compared to MUT.

The Non sellable rewards is probably my biggest gripe. I get the flawless & WS rewards for completing the program. I don't like it, but I understand. Doing it for so many other rewards is a bit much though IMO. The increased exchange requirements for programs was a big stub making killer IMO as well. I used to hang on to as many high silvers as I could get and then sell after a new program dropped and make a killing. With the exchange requirements being increased so much, not many players are doing the exchanges.

EA doesn't lie about absolutely everything they do.
EA released a football game for almost a decade with no improvements to it's core game modes and had dozens of game breaking bugs I respect your opinion but it is wrong

This year in MUT was rough. Their reward passes were glitched for most of the year. Parts of the game were completely unplayable. Just about every single content release brought some sort of glitch or delay. Their rewards for solos were 10x worse than what SDS gives even in this “pay to play” year.

I think people think of SDS as this little independent company that people shop at on small business saturday…They are not. They are a subsidiary of Sony…Sony which is worth $120 billion compared to EA being valued at $35 billion. Sony is not only bigger than EA but 3 times bigger. Bottom line - These are both HUGE corporations whose primary objective will always be to make money.

Being a subsidiary actually means they’re independent from Sony. You should probably learn how to use Google before you post.

SDS is owned by Sony the purchased the studio in 2001 at the time they were know as Red Zone Interactive. Sony will always have a big say in what SDS does hence why Sony' signature is the licensing agreement with MLB.
And just for reference

Since I can’t attach a picture and all you have is your precious dictionary. I worked in finance.
“ Subsidiaries have a separate legal entity from that of their parent company. They are independent in terms of their liabilities, taxation, and governance.”
“One of the main disadvantages of setting up a subsidiary company is costs. In addition to the extra day-to-day running and staff costs, you may have to factor in additional costs associated with running a limited company, such as accountant and legal fees.”

All this may be true but it's not what you said
You stated that SDS is independent from Sony which is not true even what you stated above indicates that in some aspect you have to separate certain things like a legal and tax information but at the end of the day there are day to day operations and staff cost that Sony is responsible for.

Lol have you ever played FIFA? I used to be a comp player in FIFA all the way up to 2018. EA has made FIFA the most pay to win franchise in all of sports gaming. Top Players like Ronaldo (R9) Gullit Ronaldinho or Team of the year Mbappe are impossible to attain unless you spend 2k+ on a game. At one point around 2014-16 you could flip in the market and get those players. In today's game its nearly impossible and was done on purpose. Kids that spend 2-4k on a game will have a team that will carry them in FIFA compared to someone who is NMS.
This year in MLB i have spent $0 and just through casual investing I have every card in the game that I want and over 3 mill in stubs sitting.
-
SDS has taken a step toward EA this year, which is bad… but they are nowhere near as bad as EA yet. I would think SDS will start to toe the line as close as possible though; so it’ll only get worse.

You’re probably that “dumb guy” who also thinks because Microsoft is massive the XBox is bigger than the PlayStation even though the video game segment is a tiny fraction of Microsoft portfolio and Sony has sold 5 times as many consoles in their history.

So Guttfox (sp?) released a video saying how DD sucks this year, and I have to agree.
I'll never make WS or go 12-0, and they made the rewards for those programs unsellable and the grind more tedious. I'm out.
They give us "other programs" filled with 90-95 cards after flooding the market with free 97-99's. I have not desire to do those.
The actual UI of DD is dated and boring. Give us a binder that's interesting, with tabs for card series, etc. Jesus, NCAA Football at least had a trophy case, and that was 20 years ago.
The best cards in the game are available in packs, so they're somewhat behind a pay-wall. I'm out.
Miniseasons was never fixed and is still a god-awful mess.
The game is a lineout simulator with 125 power guys hitting warning track perfect-perfects.
DD was cool during Set 1, but the entire premise of the 99's-on-day 1 has ruined things. Theme teams with captains never could compete with god squads, so that idea either sucked or was poorly implemented. I think these teams can't be allowed to compete with god squads because it would hit SDS in the wallet.
I got Randy, but I've switched to franchise now and can't see myself jumping back on the DD hamster wheel.
SDS has really disappointed me this year.
