First, Im offline player only and not that good there either. But i do enjoy just grinding out sats and try to have fun with different lineups in offline modes.
While i have still occasional fun game, i end up in a sour mood most of the time. Mostly because when i do what better players reccomend (work the count, be patsient, be on time) i still end up seeing my hits die in outfield and make me wonder, why do even give high power stats If perfect hits will be caught.
I know that most of the time its my own bad toiming and overall slow reaction time (none of gets younger sadly) but i am just not having fun anymore.
    End of complaining 🙂

Personally...working counts Vs. CPU is pointless in my opinion...I get the argument behind it and it's not wrong. But I'm here to play...not sit through 12 pitch at bats. Grip it and rip it man...If i'm gonna spend an hour playing a 9 inning CPU game...I'm swinging the bat...if I swing at [censored] and strike out or dribble it the first base man...so be it. On the the next one...

I am of the mind that when it ceases to be fun then it is time to take a break. I am not going to force myself to play a game that I am not having fun with.

I play exclusively offline as well and play all day long while my girlfriend is at work having been fortunate enough to retire early in life and not really much of a go outside type. I find the game plays differently this year without weather element. I especially feel it with my franchise because I use the Dodgers and Dodger Stadium saps your offense massively in this game without some kind of wind blowing. My only suggestion would be tweaking the sliders at the cost of gameplay XP for franchise and RTTS. As for Diamond Dynasty the suggestion to take a break is a good one or my usual go to, homerun derby. Nothing boosts your confidence like hitting a bunch of bombs with 2-8 legends.

you should learn to enjoy other games or take a break from gaming altogether - no one cares if you aren't having fun - the fact that you can be gaming is a privilege already - look at most of the worlds situations - grow up and learn to be grateful for what you have in your life

A lot of people want that word "perfect" to apply to the hitting result. It doesn't. It only applies to the process. The result just is what it is.

But like the other poster said, since you probably don't care about XP, simply adjust the sliders to make the game play the way you want.

I quit playing DD for about a month towards the end of Season 1 and played RTTS. I was having a great time with adjusted sliders on Legend difficulty. I plan to go back to RTTS with post trade deadline rosters when the deadline passes. I recommend trying it out or playing a different game for a bit. DD just feels very monotonous this year.

leaving a comment doesn't mean that i care mate - to be clear, i could care less if you have fun in this game, it means nothing to me - its more a call for you to have some clarity into your life - find out what truly is important - i say grow up in the nicest way possible get some broader perspectives
