So I’m trying Prestige my Oswalt card by playing RS. Ooooof! Has this been quite an experience! I’ve been getting lit up! After my first game trying him out, finished with a, like, 13.69 era. 😐

Trying to get better, but I need those innings and strikeouts to Prestige him out. Played some more RS (and won 1! Noice! 😛). So now he’s completely out of energy.

My question is how long will it take for him to be back to full energy..? Just curious if anyone knows the full dynamics surrounding pitcher energy. Thx for any info.

If I’m not mistaken and he’s fully out, you will need to start 4 before his turn. You could pitch the 3rd but he won’t be fully recovered

I usually pitch my starter until he reaches yellow and/or his number of pitches is equal to his stamina number; it’s fairly equivalent. If you do that, 3 days off is enough. Also, don’t start the 7th with a starter unless A) you are way ahead in pitch counts or B) you have a really big lead. The 7th is usually where the hitters’ clutch rating goes in effect and where the momentum can shift dramatically. If you give two hits in a row, get him out. Too many people leave their starters in for too long because of stats or depleted pens

@yankblan im scared to death to touch my bullpen. I think I’ve blown 3 saves in a row. I’ve got Hal, 99 Kluber, oswalt, Cole, smoltz/ Buehler as 5th. I can pitch better w a replacement sub if need be and avoid my bullpen. Bullpen has given up like 2/3 of ERA. I think you have more control/outcome of game bc the SP pool talent exceeds BP arms so far. Might buy that Eric Gagney card to help out
