Relievers stink

I can't stop a nosebleed with any relievers.
I completed the Cardinals collection as well as the Athletics collection today to pick up some new relievers to try and fix the problem. Nope.
First game of the night I'm up 8-1, Snell gives up a 2 run HR at like 90 pitches, so I go to the pen. Immediately give up 5 runs to the next 5 batters to make it a tie game.
I have had this issue all year. Unless I use a starter out of the pen, it doesn't matter who I put out there or who is at the plate, my relievers can't get an out.
-
Relievers get tired walking in from the pen.
-
I just had the worst beat I’ve ever had online.
Up 6-2 with 2 outs to go in the 9th. Out hit my opponent to that point 12-3. He had a solo Hr in 1st and 7th. Oswalt had pitched 8 innings for me but I pinched hit for him in the 8th so bring in Mariano Rivera to finish game. After Rivera got the first out he gives up 3 straight solo HRs. I go to bullpen with the Diamond Garrett that was just released. He gives up 2 solo hrs for my opponent to walk me off.
My opponent either took a ball or as soon as the ball was anywhere in the zone even though it was paint it went for a solo hr.

Clutch is certainly a big factor this year, I had a sweaty game like this last night, I was just leaving the ball in the middle of the zone because no matter where I put it high confidence relievers were throwing all over the place, everywhere but the strike zone or where I intended, if my opponent hadn't of just missed a couple pitches I would have lost.
-
I have started to go to my starters in the pen 4th and 5th - LS Sale or TA Nola
-
My Josh Hader has an ERA just south of 8. I threw like 500 innings with him last year and his ERA didn’t break 1.50. I haven’t found a single reliever I feel the least bit comfortable with this year.
-
I dont have any high end relievers, but I use Eck, Kerry Wood, and Lee Smith and all of them just get blown up whenever I bring them in. It makes no sense.
-
The only good relievers right now are Billy Wagner and Rollie Fingers. Not sure how Franco plays
-
Same thing happened to me last night when I brought in eck to close out the game. It’s a shame we have to actually use starters out of the pen to close out games. I think the issue is relievers not having full energy
-
Part of it is because four seamers are almost worthless on All Star.
-
Eckersley has been lights out for me.
Same with Ken Giles and Sean Doolittle. On the other hand, Josh Hader and Eric Gagne (sold him now) have been getting lit up..

This seems to be the only tangible cause. No matter the reliever, I’m getting the tired warning after two batters, and it’s almost always the third where the problems start. It makes no sense to have such low stamina while also being forced to face three batters. It’s a stupid real life rule anyway, and won’t really save any time. I would like to see SDS give normal stamina back to relievers in the pen.
-
Glad it's not just me. I had an all Dinamo d pen with 4 righties and 3 lefties, and the only one I have any confidence in at all is Chapman. I ended up taking apart my diamond pen and subbing in golds. I figured they couldn't be any worse. The second est ERA in my all diamond pen was 4.5.

It has to be since PCIs get bigger as pitchers get tired I really don’t see a fix other than making it how it was last year. It was a nice attempt to give us more strategy but in the end it’s a fail imo.

Same dude. Chapman is the only reliever I have any bit of confidence in consistently. I just got Rollie so I’m hoping that helps. But even with 5-6 run lead I’m having to piece together the last inning or two with multiple relievers when I had been shutting my opponent down all game.
I think we might feel differently when we have more reliever options but who knows.
-
They need to fix reliever stamina. I’m so sick of bringing in my reliever having him throw 6-10 pitches and being in the red stamina and then not being able to locate anything and inevitably giving up a HR to the third batter.
-
Guys that work for me:
Chapman
Eckersley (the best)
Doolittle
YatesThat’s about it.

I hear you dude. I took Kluber and Newhouse first, and I can't wait for my third pick. I decided a long time ago that it would be Rollie. I'm hoping he works out for me when I get him.

This happened last night really bad in some games. Either right over the plate (usually for a HR) or a foot out of the zone. Different pitches and felt like there was no way to control it.

Honesty my bullpen has been really good of late, only guy Iv struggled with is Pagon but I like his pitch mix.
CL: Rivera
SU: Wood
SU: Eck
MR: Roberto Osuna
MR: Lee Smith
MR: Kenley Jansen
MR: Emilio Pagon
