First, I know the saying 'if you have to ask'; but I'm asking anyway.

Two people play on the same console.

They both have a PSN account, on said console, but Player A's account is the Primary one.

They both pay for their own PS+ membership and they both paid for their own copy of the game.

Now Player A is a hard core player and finished collections. Player B only likes to play with his favorite players and could cares less about collections.

Player B packs a 90+ LS Diamond and wants to sell that player so they can buy other players.

Player A needs that player for the LS Collection

If Player B lists their player for the next highest Sell Order and Player A buys the card for that amount; is that considered stub transferring because it was technically on the same console?

I personally wouldn't do it because that could result in a console ban and both players would be out for the rest of this year and maybe additional versions as well.

Oh, I'm not involved. I'm not dumb enough to try something like that.

The scenario came up in a conversation I was having with another person when we were discussing how they ban people. I still can't believe that SDS allows streamers to advertise sites that sell stubs knowing that will get someone banned. Especially when you would get an extra discount if you mention the streamer when you order.

Based on what you're describing, I would say that's not a stub transfer and you're safe. The fact that both accounts are on the same console shouldn't matter. If the card is up on the market for anyone to purchase, and the transaction between two accounts is only happening once, then I don't see how that is distinguishable from any other transaction on the market assuming all other variables are typical.

One of those variables which could get you banned is if someone else is doing a stub transfer on that card and you try to take advantage. You can usually tell when a stub transfer is taking place because the supply for a card will be bought up so they can jack up the price to 300-500k. This seems to happen often overnight when there is less activity on the market. I assume SDS is looking for the large fluctuations on price over a short period of time, along with an unusual number of transactions per minute, and multiple transactions happening between the same two accounts quickly. However, even if you only complete a transaction once, if you are making way outside the normal amount on the transaction because you put in a crazy order, you may get caught in the cross fire. I have to assume that accounts for some of the people who come on here claiming they were banned for market manipulation, but they say they never buy stubs and were only flipping.

I don't know about the other stuff, but one thing- didn't need to buy the game twice, being on the same console only one game is needed as Sony lets you game share( even if it were 2 separate consoles,as long as both profiles were on it, Sony allows this)

Are you trying to transfer from Minersvillemafia to one of the accounts banned for racism or is it the other way around?

Can't transfer from a banned account to another account if I don't have any banned accounts.

Besides, your reply, which was unwarranted, shows your intelligence. If an account is banned; you can't access that account. So if I did have a banned account; I wouldn't be able to transfer anything. Thanks for playing though.

Do I think it’s a transfer no, since like someone else mentioned you’re just buying a card on the market that drives prices, but does it come with risk yes especially since sds has banned non online players before if I recall from this forum for cheating in BR or stuff lol,
