Captain boosts

Captain boosts should be useable anyone who had played on the team not just the team on the card art. This would incentivize people to actually use these teams and would see “theme teams” much more frequently.

I use the captains while doing the grind for TA.... been working well for me

Yes but they are not as useful when playing in ranked season. -

Just offline...just online...some of each...lots of ways to play in DD and that is why SDS has created so many different ways to play in this mode. Something for everyone and that is why not everything is for everyone.

I think this one thing that will be eventually added, I think enough people want it, it might be a coding thing that needs to be figured out. It makes sense, imagine running an all dodger team and the best Kenley is a Red Sox card. Or when the release a 99 Piazza, It sucks that it matters which Jersey he will have on. The other thing they need to do is allow cards to parallel into getting the boost, such as the Ripken and Fingers boosts. It’s a missed opportunity with their captain and parallel systems they have.

I think the whole Captain thing layed an egg.
Most of the cards aren't that great, and you need to use very specific cards to get the boost.
Maybe I'm totally wrong, but I haven't heard a great deal of buzz about the whole thing.

I like the idea, though.It's a good idea...execution was horrible though.
And by execution, I mean the fact that someone walked into the SDS office one day and decided to pitch the idea of "99s from Day 1".
One thing that is more and more abundantly clear is that was absolutely a last minute decision. Just look at how it was all released.
They released "historic HR Derby" cards in like week 2 or whatever?
HR Derby is a week after July 4th...

But then they would have less justification for releasing 2-3 versions of the same player every set.
