Set 2 Captain's Pack

Ok; so you can either buy up to 3 packs, at 30K each, or you can just buy the card on the market for 30K.
Other than being able to get all eight by having to buy five of them off the market; this makes no sense.

Also; I assume these are useless unless you want to field one of these theme teams or want to finish off the complete Set 2 Collection; since there are better version of each player available.
I don't know. 30K for a card that won't make most lineups isnt worth it. (in my opinion).

I don't get it either. It's a choice pack, right? Why spend 30k, pick whatever card you want, and sell within an hour for less than 30k (plus the tax hit)?

I grabbed Randy Johnson for around 28k. I'm starting to wonder if I should be investing in these or if I'm missing something obvious. Cards don't typically sell for less than the cost of the speciality Pack, especially when they first release. There are no rounds for this, right? You pick from the 8?

I would assume that you pick from the 8 since they are all 95s. Nice pick up for less than the pack!

This pack makes no sense to me either.
Maybe for a tall or short guy theme team?

Rollie looks good, unfortunately his boost doesn’t work for cards that parallel into 30 stamina.

The purpose of those cards is to unlock the tier boosts (which helps the captain too) ;).
The bad thing is that even though I have a big inventory I do not know, which players fit the captains, before buying them. You can look it up at showzone, but in-game in advance would be nicer
