Showdown

I know showdown is supposed to be challenging but why does it play so dramatically different from the rest of the game modes? Is it purely juiced up sliders and pitcher confidence? The way the ball comes off the bat and fielder reactions are very different. Just curious if there is anything more to it or if it’s small sample size?

The only thing that I know for sure is that pitcher Stamina especially for relievers is super juiced . They throw 80 or so pitches before getting in the yellow

I'm hoping to finish WBC Showdown tonight for my NMS team... made it to the Final Showdown this weekend and choked. The only beef I have with Showdown is that when you tie the game you should get additional outs... the pain of tying "the game" 14-14 and failing had me feeling some type of way this weekend and then in subsequent tries I never made it back to the Final Showdown so yeah I was in a mood... going to stick with my strategy and it should get the job done... as long as I can draft Trea Turner and Randy Arozarena at some point during the draft.

Just get the bunt perk and you will easily finish showdowns. I finished both yesterday using that perk after I failed 8 times trying to crush every thing.

I just might have to try this... I've won with the long ball and I've won playing station to station but once again I got stopped by Doval... this time 14-12 because of baserunning blunders on my part.
