Set 6 Confirmed

Not sure if anyone noticed in the filters but Set 6 is the highest set in there... so at minimum we are getting 6 Seasons.

1 - Core, Set 1
2 - Core, Set 1 + 2
3 - Core, Set 2 + 3 & WC
4 - Core, Set 3 +4 & WC
5 - Core, Set 4 + 5 & WC
6 - Core, Set 5 + 6 & WC

and then maybe a Forever Season with all sets in play (maybe) at the end of the games cycle as we get ready for MLB The Show 24?

Do we have the dates on some of these sets? I know I can look in game but wonder if anyone has on hand thanks

In game I want to say you can only see May 12th for Season 2 and then I believe it's July somrthing for Season 3 (maybe around All-Star???)

In the Feature premiere video you can see that season 3 is July 7th to Sept 1st.

So. if three seasons takes up 5 months of the year it is safe to assume that their plan is to make 6 seasons last at least through the end of the calendar year. Season length was confirmed to be between 6 to 8 weeks long. So seasons 4-6 will run between 4 months and 5.5 months, which takes us to the end of Dec - mid Feb.

I would maybe guess that since season 6 is probably not happening until the end of the year, after the actual baseball season is completely wrapped up, that it might allow you to use any set. At least that is my hope, but odds are I will be done by then. I rarely ever play that late into the year.

My guess is, since season 3 will be around the AS break, season 4 will probably go to the end of the year, season 5 will be the postseason and season 6 will be the forever season where all sets are unlocked.
