This usually happens when the professional flippers get in the millions with stubs. Then they start controlling the market.

That’s why I always take the plunge early with collections. They are always cheaper out the gate besides golds.

Same here. Finished them all up last night. Yes, I bought my team. I pulled the two most expensive cards opening night. Hate away. I honestly don’t care. Had a guy offer me 5$ to quit out last night so he can make WS lol. What a [censored]. Then he went on to call me a sweat when I told him no.

I wanted Mantle early so I could use him all year. Last year I looked forward to Babe Ruth all year. I got him as fast as I could. And a few weeks later was burnt out and quit the game for the year.

This year I was most excited for that Mantle. Was worth the price to use him out the gate. Will be nice getting him to blood diamond too. I’m close.

I wanted Mantle forever and they finally got his rights. My favorite team is the Tigers (I’m from Michigan), but my grandpa’s favorite player was Mickey Mantle. He was also a Tigers fan first. He just loved Mantle.

So I grew up as a kid hearing all these stories about him. So when I heard he was in the game this year, it was an easy decision.

Think you mentioned Mickey Cochrane in another post about dream cards - did you know Mantle was named after Cochrane?
