Pablo Reyes, this is so frustrating. Carlos Hernandez will not throw me a strike at all, ball inside, ball outside, ball inside aost hits me. How can i possibly homer when the pitcher can't even throw strike. Attempt number 22 coming up.

Took me less attempts, but I'm gonna say it, Carlos Hernandez's pitch speeds in this were fudged up. No way was he throwing fastballs at 100 to 102 mph, if he was I wouldn't have been constantly very early.

For me it is definitely facing Ramone. I get through them pretty quickly but man he either dots everything or stays out of the strike zone completely. I get that they are just doing something goofy, but it gets annoying when he walks you on 4 straight pitches.

I did okay against him, but yeah, a lot of outside stuff. SDS and I have very different ideas of 99 control

Yeah, he is supposed to be throwing fastballs down the middle as a “BP” pitcher. Instead you have to hit dotted pitches out of the park

Like he has a piano attached to him or a anchor. Simple answer is just hit home runs then he can just walk around the bases lol

Holy moly! You guys are right about singleton. 30 speed. Wow!
I went 3-4 with him in my first try. A homer, but 2 singles. Neither was anywhere near trying for second. Although, I’m not sure he could make it.
Again, 30 speed. Unbelievable.

The singleton moment is just silly. This one is the kind of moments that makes us “hate” moments. Just silly.

The Winans moment is silly as well. Strike out three batters with a guy that is basically a BP velocity pitcher. Oh, against the Mets top of the order. Seriously.

I quit the singleton moment, did some other stuff and have gone back in. NOW, the moment is only giving me 3 at bats.
I can consistently get one XBH with him. The second is elusive.

I fought this yesterday and ended up having to do what @samguenther1987 did, which was to hit back to back homers…however I had to go as far as trying a different controller - my “Sunday’s best” - which still has some distinguishable rubber coating remaining on the left stick.
I suggest this OR some sort of ancient spell.

Thanks! I absolutely refuse to try a moment more than 10 or so times. I’ve said before, if it takes me more than that to get a moment (if I play normal baseball and take pitches, work counts, and swing a strikes), then something is wrong with the moment. SDS is just making it difficult for no reason. Which I just can’t quite understand why they would want to upset their hard core playing base.
I mean, I heard you guys saying yesterday, “it’s taking me 40+ times to get this or that moment”
That is just plain faulty SDS programming, IMO. And it’s unnecessary.

Amen. What stuck in my craw was that when I got lucky and hurt the SP (a lefty I’ve already blocked him from my mind) they would bring in another stinking lefty…Rosenberg I believe…BUT I noticed after I kept trying a trend that IF I hit a HR in my very 1st AB, then around the 3rd one they’d drop in a righty! Of course I failed to capitalize there as well and bet I got threw out 10 times at second base by 10 feet or more haha. That one did suck!

Finally!!!!! And, yes, I yelled bad words at my TV. Got 2 no doubters. One vs the starter.
Then in the 8th, they brought in Loup. Got to 3-2. He shook off the catcher. You know what’s coming. (Please SDS never change that giveaway). Bam!!!!That DA.. thing is done.

Lol I actually paused the game earlier and looked at his pitching attributes…have you seen these? It’s as if they were custom made to create such awful pitches haha
