It’s interesting how people hate modes just because they can be challenging.
Challenging is one thing. But after trying so many times I feel the same and I just give up. That’s why I didn’t even touch Extreme moments last year. Attempted and beat only the ones I knew were bearable at my level and patience.

My new favorite.
I have to get 3 hits and a HR in 3 innings at polo grounds. I force extra innings only needing a HR. Perfect perfect, but going to right center so deep it will be an inside the Parker, but it bounces up over that high wall of the BP for ground rule double. Next batter hit deep fly right center again but closer to Center, since that runner on 2nd ends game I send him back to 2nd for what should be a long single, nope bounced over the wall ground rule double, runner at 2nd scores, game over I fail.
In hindsight I should have gotten that runner picked off at 2nd base to keep extending the game. Both shots would be no doubt HRs in any other park.
I had an inside the park home run on that moment and it did not count as a HR. No there were not any errors either. Clean inside the park HR.

Yeah figures. I even switched to directional to try to hit one down the line, but they kept going to the power alleys.

I feel you dude. It took me 15+ attempts to beat it.
Got lucky on the last one, got the Rockies and Marquez as the final boss. Smoked him. Beat him with 7 outs in the bank still.
There is hope.
Same. Got massively lucky with Marquez. Only beat him with 3 outs remaining tho lol

Lucky number 12?
I only failed on that Polo Grounds mission, so I went I to Boss down 13-15
I really screwed up my perks I think, they were front loaded, so it was two for first 2 pitches and the other was for down in the count. It seemed like Jansen would put himself down 3-0 catch 2 close ones on the paint and I would be hoping to get something to hit but not want to K.
I squeak out 1 run through my first 11 outs. Finally bases are loaded and I hit my only HR of the mission to win 18-15. Best hit ball of the mission easily. Jansen was nearing 100 pi6ches and I am sure my blood pressure was high.
So what is everyone's strategy on perks, try to double up or spread out over the AB? A couple times I was down 0-1 and had all 3 perks, I got 0 hits from that, mostly because I didnt get a good pitch to hit.
But anyway, finally got 1st inning Showdown done. Now do I try TA? Certainly not right now. I'm wore out.

One suggestion I have is switching to directional. Yeah yeah I know what you are thinking but I was able to beat the final boss after switching to directional.
Eventually these pitchers groove at least 1 or 2 down the plate per at bat so you can just be ready for it a bit easier when they do.

It's interesting how people can be so arrogant just because they believe they are better than others.

I switched to directional to beat the Vlad Jr moment. I am still not comfortable with directional, I know with all the RNG that odds are in my favor, but it's hard to give up control, despite the fact that I know I am not that good of a player.
Honestly the best way is to take my time and work my behind off to beat all of the missions. Down 13-15 is so much better than 8-15. Even if I still got stressed on it. I assume if you beat them all you go into it 15-15.

yea, there's a serious elitist mentality with a lot of the people on here, its like the they think their RS record is going to get them a promotion at work or something.

Exactly lol. It’s a fn video game . I yell at the game when I get BS calls or make a bad decision on my end but like I said it’s just a game
