The fielding.
I’m not even really talking about the OFers not locking on. It’s the clunky, unnatural animations that take over.
19s fielding was so much more smooth. Running down a fly ball would look smooth and natural.
This year they are always making these weird, cross the body, hopping animations. It’s like the animation occurs so late or something they just have to stick up their glove.
It just sucks it regressed so much this year. I haven’t seen fielding this unnatural since the PS3 days.

1 - Pitching
Perfect release means nothing. Game decides where your pitch goes. Like seriously, why even call it “Perfect Release” when the outcome is not?
2 - Little Billy
Ruined this game on release day when he bought it.

The animations seem improved and more fluid to me and I’ve had almost no issues locking on issues after the patch but I also use good defenders in the field and don’t overrun the ball.

The AI that runs the games. Other than that it's fun to watch.

Showdown.

I've been doing showdown all day and I'm having a ton of fun. Haven't even lost a run yet, made like 25k stubs, tons of experience.

I don’t know how you can possibly think that. When the OF gets to a fly ball on the run it is not smooth at all. They like last second put their glove up and often are in this weird “ready to throw” stance. Not natural looking at all and a regression compared to last year.

Everything has already been said so I'll add stale commentary.

For the last 5 years, when the starter is a 36 years old but under X ratings “curious to see how this young guy will react..”

Shockingly I actually miss Harold Reynolds. I found him less annoying than Plesac and DeRosa... but I know these east coast dudes love DeRo because it's like hearing your drunk uncle running his mouth at family reunions about being on time for the heater.
