I have a general question. When in the team affinity programs under tasks and “exchange”. If I exchange a player for the exchange value points does the player get taken away from my collection and cannot be used again once I submit the exchange?

Yes, that is correct. You are exchanging your current player to go towards points for TA

Yes it’s gone. Not a lock in. Gone.

Exchange = Card is removed from your collection, unable to be used anywhere, and never to be seen again unless pulled from pack or bought again.

Collect = Card is locked into collection, able to be used in other areas, but unable to be sold.

IMO, exchanges this year are NOT worth the cost. Unreasonably high exchange thresholds are helping to keep the market stable (which is not great for some of us), but it effectively eliminates one avenue for burning through TA.

And I actually kinda like that! Back in 20 and 21, I would stockpile an obscene amount of bronzes and commons, and it seemed like I would be like 20% done with every division/team TA on the day of every content drop. I like having to work and grind out the TA this year. I do wish they would do a true TEAM affinity and not essentially a Division affinity, but that’s a minor nitpick.

What year did they drop 30 team conquest maps at the end of the year? I can’t remember if that was 20 or 21 (or maybe even 19?). That was the coolest content release for offline players, and I hope they do it again this year! I don’t even care if they completely recycle those old maps — it would be a cool treat for offline bros!

Very true about the exchanges this year, i completely agree but back in 2021 we didn't have mini seasons. When mini seasons works and you can get through a full playoff run the 10 TA exchanges more then makes up for it. The ability to knock out 40 points of a TA division is amazing.

Just do 1 run of mini seasons, and MTO and thats 75 to 100 points in the TA division, more if your using the players involved.

I pulled up the TA exhange about 5 minutes after game release, did the math, and realized I'd need 1,000 commons... oof. I'm with you though. Enjoying the grind. I've played a lot this year and still haven't completed one.

As others have stated if you exchange the card it is gone. I'd recommend using "exchange" as a last resort to complete a program unless you have a surplus of cards in your inventory.

Not worth it at all. You get barely any progress for an obscene buy-in.

    This is a good change.

I just did a "run" of mini seasons.. it isnt quick to do. 28 games plus the playoffs etc. I dunno , folks make to think mini seasons is some quick XP, took me forever to complete it lol

Not that bad if you don't play every game, but yes it is time consuming, i never said it wasn't.
