I'm just wondering why "simulation" would be chosen over "competitive" for gameplay styles? I posed the question on Operation Sports asking which is better for offline franchise mode and I received the typical "whatever suits your style the best" answers which wasn't what I was looking for. Although, one person did say the type of control settings you use could work better on specific gameplay styles. They mentioned that using zone hitting and pinpoint pitching (which I currently use) would be better suited using the "competitive" gameplay style. Do you guys think this is true? Or is simulation still the way to go ?

Dude you're not gonna get an answer here for that, this forum is littered with DD casuals newbs, stick with Operation Sports. For myself I make the game as simulated as it gets, Legend hitting and pitching with maxed out pitched speeds and matured Sliders, I use TNK Sliders as a base and make slight adjustment as needed.
