Hit by Pitch / Griefing Not Working

Anyone noticing an issue with Griefing in Online play?
Have had multiple games so far where I’m winning big and my opponent just keeps intentionally hitting my batters instead of just quitting.
They eventually get “warned” by the home plate ump but then continue to hit batters.
I’ve noticed the pitchers NEVER get tossed anymore and the only time it ends the game is if it coincides with the run rule.
Years past once you get warned you are usually tossed either 1 or 2 hit batters after the warning but not it’s like unlimited beam ball.
Extremely annoying way to finish a game but odd there’s no more tosses of the pitchers at minimum.
