I really wish they didn’t let people quit because they are being no hit…I know there’s virtually no way to fix this outside of maybe letting the CPU finish the game for them (you get the automatic win no matter what happens) but it just sucks…

Spending 20+ mins to have perfect game going in the 7th into the 8th inning and people just quit. It’s happened multiple times to me already.

I get it, it sucks being beat like that but if you only play online (like me) you’ll almost NEVER get to see what happens (the animation) if you indeed throw a no no or perfect game.

Again I know there’s no fix, just sucks to waste the time just for people to rage quit lol

While they’re at it remove friendly quits it’s comical watching these so called top players getting matched up only to send each other friendly quits man up and play

Haha is that what they are doing?

Why would they FQ each other wouldn’t one of them want the win?

I have been on both sides of this issue. Had 2-3 no hitters into the 5th to get the FQ which of course I rejected, and they quit. I have quit on a couple of guys while being no hit because they were being toxic (bunt dancing) cheesing, etc.

I have also been no hit twice (think it was last month) and had one no hitter and extremely close to a perfect game only to have the 27th batter hit a ball hit the dirt just inside the line right at the bag for a single. Had to settle for a one hitter. When you stink as bad as I do, and even worse in that time frame every near miss hurts.

For “content” they’d rather claim to be a top player for YouTube than actually proving it on the field against another top player

Trust me I get it, i haven’t been close to no-hit in a while, longest I’ve been taken this year is like the 5th or 6th inning but then I was able to throw some hits up.

I just think it sucks because the animation for the event is in the game but poor sports ruin the chance to see it because they are getting dog walked and are embarrassed.

I have pm people before thanking them for not quitting.

Doubt I'll get one this year. I find pitching much harder .

I admit I have gone on tilt a few times last month. Some players can catch me on a bad day and I end up walking away. Played a 800 level guy last night that bunt danced and paused all 9 innings.

I knew up front I was going to lose, but I bit my lip and ground because I needed online pitching innings for the June monthly program (2020). I don't understand why when someone knows that the other player is no real threat that instead of saying to themself "got this win in the bag, just play normal and pad my stats" instead of trying to get the other guy to quit. Especially in a year when the "seasons" are over and win loss means nothing.

I wonder how many people trying online for the first time ran into one of these d bags and said "no thanks" and stopped playing online forever?

On the contrary. I like running their clock down so that they either time out or quit I don't know if that's toxic, but if you are going to quit, quit. Does not make me mad, just as long as I don't get dashboarded.

thats also a nice strategy - i may take a smoke and puff and wait for a minute - check my texts - i hear you mate F em and let their clock run low

My biggest thing this year is pitchers stamina. I have carried a few no-no’s into the 7th and my starter has almost zero energy is already zapped. Mind you I use meter and don’t even use the full power on my pitches. I’m almost tempted to take my starter out next time and try and finish with the bullpen.

I only play Online Rated and these dudes don’t bother me anymore. They can bunt dance and pause and R2 all they want I’ve just learned to play through it. The game takes a bit longer because I’ve realized I need to focus a bit more and wait on pitching longer but yeah it sucks people like that ruin the integrity of the game.

I gave up 3 home runs in a row with Degrom last night which I don't think I have ever done before. Last year I might give up 3 in 5 games . Pitching is off this year or something. People just mash the ball no matter what I do.

What's funny is it's almost like people are way more patient as well. Reminds me of playing against the CPU they just don't swing outside the zone this year.

Yeah I think it’s a little easier to see pitches this year. It’s not as deceptive throwing junk as it has been in years past. No more sliders down and away all the time (thank god). I also think hitting is a little easier this year. I’ve made a ton more perfect perfect contacts than I have in years past. I get like 5+ a game now. Use to only get 2-3…maybe 4 if the guy was throwing cookies…

That was kind of my deal with the guy I referenced. It didn't "bother" me so much as I was thinking "why?" I wonder if these guys know, or even care what d bags they are being.

Again, I have gotten better at dealing with it, but just sometimes I cannot, or will not and walk away. In a 3 year old game where wins and losses are literally meaningless the so be it.

Imagine being such a failure at life that acting like that is a "achievement".
