Co-op RTTS

My friend and I were just thinking how cool it would be to play a co-op RTTS. Has anybody else thought about this as well?

I would love that. The best I have come up with is alternating appearances with a friend. And then we usually do a sort of "make it, take it" where if you get a hit, you keep playing until you don't.

I've been asking for this for years. Doubt we'll ever see it. My cousin is always a pitcher and I typically play as an outfielder. I think it would be awesome to each have our own season that is connected to each other. And when our teams face off, we get to play each other. Not sure how it would work exactly. But I'm sure it could be done.

No. I'm all set with waiting for someone else to get online so i can progress in my season. Thats why i dont play Franchise modes.

A simple ‘X is not online, substitute X with CPU simulation?’ (based on their RTTS player’s attributes) would solve that particular problem. The stats issue would need to be overcome somehow. Another hurdle is if players are traded to the same team.

I’m all for RTTS with an option for multiplayer. Some compromises would need to be made but that’s par for the course. It’s been asked for for years.
